My wife had this cake made special for Dillsmack’s Brithday:
It was a perfect mirror image of the new Macbook Pro including the status lights!
And even taste as good as it looks:
Go over and wish David a happy birthday!

The small holes in the side make the macbook really look alive. The same could have been made better with proper lighting in the room for the photograph.

October 30, 2008 at 3:50 pm
Oddly enough, Mac cakes are incompatible with my current digestive system. Perhaps I should make the switch.
October 30, 2008 at 3:45 pm

October 30, 2008 at 3:34 pm

October 30, 2008 at 12:39 pm
That looks good. I like how the apple was done perfectly.
October 30, 2008 at 12:34 pm
That’s so cool, I love when people get creative like that.
About 15 years ago when I was tech manager for a networking company (and had just started there) my birthday rolled around, and the wife of one of the salespeople made me a motherboard cake. It was a sheet cake with green icing, there was a Chunky for the CPU, Hershey’s miniatures for the chips, Kit Kat sections for the slots, and I think she used wafer cookies with pieces of licorice stuck to them for the memory simms. It was amazing! I didn’t even want to cut into it. Unfortunately, nobody had a camera.
October 30, 2008 at 12:33 pm
Looks delicious
November 7, 2008 at 3:39 pm
yummy…
October 30, 2008 at 12:32 pm
I can’t afford a Cakebook Pro. I’ll just stick with OSX (and the Kalymayo) hack running on my Breadcrust Core 2 Duo.
October 30, 2008 at 2:51 pm
Cakebook Pro, love the name! How fun Jeremy, and fun to see how you take care of those you work with, a great example!
October 30, 2008 at 8:48 pm
Haha. I might consider eating a cakebook pro in the noon.
November 1, 2008 at 4:25 am
Lol cakebook pro.. Make a cakebook air!
October 30, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Wow-I love it. My husband will love this too-He is a huge Mac fan (former PC slave).
Your are lucky to be married to a wife with such a great sense of humor.
October 31, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Shoemoney is also lucky to be married to a wife who acts on her creativity and humor. I am also amazed as I am sure her career as an anesthesiologist keeps her time precious.
October 30, 2008 at 12:19 pm
And all of a sudden I’m hungry….Thanks Jeremy…lol
That is a pretty wicked cake though…..
October 30, 2008 at 12:40 pm
Would eating this cake cause you to “Think Different”?
October 31, 2008 at 2:57 am
Hahaha! Is apple one of the ingredients?
October 30, 2008 at 12:14 pm
Way too cool. Now, where is that new Mac Book you were giving away?
October 30, 2008 at 12:38 pm
It’s all a trick. He’s keeping the Mac Book for himself and mailing out Mac Book cakes to the winners!
October 30, 2008 at 1:53 pm
“IT WON’T TURN ON!”
Lol, that would be hilarious though.
October 31, 2008 at 9:37 am
Hahah, i can imagine the frustrations of the helpdesk person trying to walk the customer through rebooting their Mac laptop..
October 30, 2008 at 2:34 pm
hahaha, no, shoe would never do that to us… I think… Would you shoe??? Well it was a sweet looking cake either way. I like the “light” effects. Tell your wife she cooks a good looking cake.
