Pubcon Poker Tournament & Fight Club Announced

by Jeremy Schoemaker on October 22, 2008 · 68 comments

Unfortunately this year I wont be at Pubcon but if you are going there are some awesome events planned by PurposeINC

DK sent out an email announcing this years Pubcon Poker Tournament. I finished 2nd in the event last year and nabbed almost $2,000.00. It was by far one of the best events of the conference. Check here for details on the event. I guarentee if you wait on this you wont be able to play and get stuck standing around the poker room waiting for your friends ;) .

Also this year at Pubcon DK is going to be hosting another fight club. He did one of these at the Purpose INC thinktank and everyone loved it! But in vegas its going to happen at the Xtreme Couture gym where several world champions train including current heavyweight champion of the world Randy Couture. Check here for more information on the fight club.

Btw don’t let this image of Neil Patel scare you:

lol, nice “fight” name. That is an awesome picture of him. Now you need to get a picture of him fighting Couture. Now that would be awesome.

It stinks you won’t be able to go this year, as it looks like the best one yet.

You really do love your poker :) I remember you saying in one of your posts that you love to play in Las Vegas. Winner, winner, chicken dinner :)

They should have done the conference about how to deal with spammers and trolls at Randy’s gym and bring in spammers and have them go a round with a fighter each. The poker tourney sounds like fun.

Poker is really cool. I loved reading about tournaments of dragon poker in the novels fiction writers.

poker tournatment? that’s interesting! If the 2nd place should get up to that amount, how much will the winner get?

Not bad, but I guess shoemoney is not into poker?

Yep I don’t think you can beat MMA and Poker in one place, that’s why I like Vegas so much. Speaking of MMA I am glad to see Kimbo and his Elite XC brand go down the dumps now since they can’t hold a candle to UFC.

Dina and I are discussing the possibility of participating in the poker event, since she and I are pros. If nothing else, perhaps we can watch and cheer you on!

My brain, just shorted.

Why not COMBINE poker and Fight Club? Then you could gamble about what buildings should be blown up. And you could….have RANDY COUTURE as your celebrity guest player!!! That would work…

Reply

53 PimpDaddy October 22, 2008 at 7:03 pm

Say what? Blow up buildings and gamble on it. What are you kids smokin these days. My lord, no wonder our economy is goin down the crapper with the kind a thinking comin from the youth these days.

Yeh I agree with you, your brain be a shortin, The cause is what I be a worryin about.

If you kids put the time you spend on these damn get rich quik blogs as you did at working at gettin rich you would have a better chance of gettin rich.

You think hanging here 24/7 Shoe’s goin to send you his recipe to get rich online? You be dreamin fools.

My Fav. is Texas Hold’em. My friends hate to play with me because I make stupid moves – and don’t have an ounce of skill, but what I do seem to have is luck.

Often times I pull off crazy hands at the last second. They get so mad.
