Socialspark last friday relaunched a new design and also new affiliate opportunities for bloggers:
I think a lot of readers will find the Affiliate Opportunities very interesting:
Affiliate Opportunities
I am proud to announce the alpha release of SocialSpark Affiliate Opportunities. I first previewed this IZEAFest and I am happy to say we are ready to roll. A few things about the affiliate program:
- First affiliate marketplace designed exclusively for bloggers.
- Required in-post disclosure on all affiliate links and 100% transparency.
- Bloggers get paid for generating sales and signups.
- Advertisers control ROI through performance based pricing (CPA)
So what does this mean? Well for most bloggers they don’t understand affiliate marketing. They can easily pick a interesting product and write about it…. disclosing that it is an affiliate link and get paid.
Here is an example:

And they have very HIGH QUALITY advertisers and products. I look forward to seeing how this works out!
So if you are ready to start making money with SocialSpark get over and register your blog right now!

I am I the first to comment? Will there be affiliate products for personal bloggers in Social Spark?
I would better promote my products then getting 50% or so
@ Meethee – I would also promote my products over anyone elses. But you can make a lot of money by selling others products also.
@ Shoemoney – I don’t see what makes this different to any other affiliate network??
It’s cool. I might give them a try.
Yup, they sound like the real deal.
This is a good opportunity. I think you can benefit from this partnership program.
Sounds interesting.. I will have a look to see if they have products related to my niche.
this is a great idea, but did you think about make this for the spanish market, should be great if you make your affiliate system a contextual one.
Great somebody is now willing to share my comments efforts,
Disclosing that the post I am doing is an advertisment.
Hmmm. Well lets see. I haven’t take serious interest with socialspark as well as payperpost before… I might take a look into that
My friend told me that because there are a lot of people already there, it takes time for a blogger to be on queue and I mean really long time ( a month or 2)
Two months is not very long by the standards of a virtual business. -))
Seems like a great idea but the hard part is trying to explain affiliate links to everyday consumers.
I think consumers and readers need not to bother whether its an affiliate link or not… for bloggers on the other hand they can always learn with it by doing a research much like what they have done when they started a blog…
There are just so many affiliate networks out there it’s crazy. I could say: “I’ll try it Shoe, thanks for sharing!”, but you know, I don’t know. So thanks for sharing, but I’ll put it in the list of “to try” affiliate networks.
Does the advertiser provide enough content for us to figure out what the product is, or do we have to do a lot of research? This kind of thing is ok as long as you don’t have to spend three hours researching the product.
Its just like any other thing. The advertiser gives a brief explanation of what they have and its all up to you to do your research…
Being a member of Payperpost AND SocialSpark for some time, I think this is a great move. If you cannot get a chance to blog about an advertiser, you can still hit up a product review to get paid CPA.
Nice addition, they are covering all markets nicely. I recommend that all bloggers give it a shot.
Again affiliate thing and hope that will be a really good one.
I got burned by them & PayPerPost trying to get paid by the post, but I could give this a try.

This seems like a possible opportunity in the future. I hope that they will grow and expand a bit with their advertisers…
I was just looking for an affiliate program that was trustworthy. I don’t think you would invovle yourself in something that you didn’t think was legit, so I will look into this. Are the payment per post based on the page rank of your blog or is it a set offer?

I am so happy that you have joined our advisory board Shoe!
The affiliate program just started with the first opportunity friday and the advertiser is already seeing some nice conversions. Now that we know everything works as planned in a live environment we being adding more advertisers.
If you are a blogger or advertiser interested in CPA I encourage you to give it a whirl.
Eh, so do you have affiliate managers and the like, I think as an affiliate this isnt so hot, but as a smaller blogger it may be decent..
wow great. lets give them a try. I’am never interest with payperpost before, I’ll take a look it.
Does that mean you are kind of my boss now?
BOD at Izea…Sounds pretty awesome Shoe!
I’m always looking for new ways to make a few bucks
Oh… that’s a great opportunity
Awesome! I was always wondering if I’d give them a try. How that Jeremy is on the team and pointing it to the success it deserves I’m gonna give it a whirl.
Well just checked out there offers and I didn’t really find anything that is interesting for me. Btw, there site loads faster now than before…
I loved their new design, Izea did a great job with it. Social Spark has also teamed up with a lot of big bloggers like Shoemoney. I checked the price for a sponsored review on premium bloggers and it costs around $1,065!
Oh, this is a very good amount of money. Good….
Transparency is a must have for those testing the waters. Leaking/sharing Page Rank by not using the “no follow”, which wasn’t allowed by Pay Per Post until recently, is bad for your blog. Izea’s decision to provide opportunities for bloggers just shows that they did learn their mistakes – unfortunate for Google PR’d blogs of the past these changes are too late. Bravo for seeing the light Izea.
If I was an advertiser I would want a do-follow link but then again I would just be looking to increase my sales or get visitors so I guess no-follow is the best way to go. It will keep the link juice to your page and not pass it on to other websites.
Their New Affiliate Oppourtunities are very interesting for me.
This is a good way for newbie bloggers to make some money and get motivated about getting bigger. Also can be good for bloggers looking for exposure through paid articles.
Indeed, it looks like a good way to make some money for starting-bloggers, but I reckon it’s also good for the more advanced bloggers.. I’m gonna give it a try!
Don’t think this will take off, seems like they’re trying to build everything and incorporate a aff network into social spark too..
Will def be checking this out this week.
I’ll have to check it out.
This seems like a great way to make a few extra bucks, thanks for sharing it
Sounds good, I’ll check this out right now.
Looks like they have some interesting products. Has anyone ever sent their blog into space with Izea?
Thanks for the heads up
It sounds interesting of course I want to make money. Keep these great post coming
Yeah I just went and signed up. thanks.
Sounds great, will check it out!
maybe I’ll give it a shot.
wrong spelling wrong.
I’ll check out social park again!! thanks for sharing this!!
Thanks for the tip Shoe, I’ll check it out.
Jeremy,
I’m on Social Spark already. I will check this out! Please let us all know how we can maximize this opportunity! Spread the word on our blogs?
Respectfully, Nicholas Chase – ‘the video guy at BlogWorld Expo 2008
it seems a better one. i will use it in my english blog i think.
I’m surprised that Jeremy hasn’t started using affiliate IDs in his outbound links for these type of service reviews, similar to how John Chow would refer his readers.
I heard about this, but didn’t have the time to check it out. I will later.
Jeremy, thanks for pointing to this. Like all bloggers I’m always looking for ways to pay the bills so this type of post is very important to me.
Okay let me try it. I’ve got to make some money from my blog.
I asked some of the izea guys for help with Social Spark (during IzeaFest) because it was a bit confusing. They told me they’d send me the links to some help videos…
I’m still waiting.
Looks clean and simple, might have to give it a try
I have seen big guys call payperpost a bag of rice, because it was a one time payout. now this ll open up a new opp for shoemoney too..
