I am glad to see that they upped the ante to an aluminum MacBook. The LED backlighting, and the unibody construction rock!! My first generation MacBook (white) is starting to show its age and a new lappy with a much improved video chipset would aide my college endeavors ever so much!

The White MacBook was replaced with the newer aluminum Macbook. Jeremy must have confused the White MacBook with the MacBook Air in his post.
This is better than the air and still lightweight, but with much better performance.
Lots of people know the air sucks for performance, it’s just all the hype and the actual thinness of the air that makes it such a must-have product.
Great marketing by Apple, really.
The performance of the Macbook Air may not be good but we can always add extra RAM, upgrade to a better processor, etc. to improve it. It would be nice to own a MAC so I could learn how to develop iPhone apps.
