Shel Israel Interview

by Jeremy Schoemaker on September 14, 2008 · 78 comments

I am pretty honored to be interviewed by Shel Israel:

Shel puppet has interviewed a who’s who of internet celebrity’s including Kevin Rose, Mike Arrington, and Jason Calcanis just to name a few. For a d-list blogger like me to sneak in is pretty cool!

Shoe is pretty cool, but wow Shel is pretty awesome too.

By the way, before I read the post and the title, and just saw the YouTube preview shot, I thought Shoe was debuting as a ventriloquist. :D

Nice, funny interview. I checked out the company at the end, Payoneer. Looks neat. Could save us people tons of time waiting for checks.

Do they work in the affiliate world?

Shoemoney do you know?

Love the interview, lots of fun, having some issues with your main landing page (not this page) though, I’ve got firefox and flash 9, the videos play fine just almost as the page load I’m getting an action script error, everything is enable fine on my browser to allow action scripts.

Here is the error, Flash seems to work everywhere else for me.

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

Jeremy, Now you are starting to realize the value of production value with video!

I blogged about IzeaFest here: http://donotreadthisblogunless.blogspot.com/2008/09/izeafest-in-orlando-was-awesome.html

The IzeaFest was great, and despite your initial nervousness, your keynote spoke from your heart and this translated well on the Ustream video. Thank you for stepping up!

I spent ten years in a post-production house in Hollywood, worked on approximately 1,000 movies, and 6000, television shows, saw a lot of expensive, bad video production.

Investor’s actually thought Universal’s ‘MANIMAL” would be a hit, of course a superhero that could morph into any animal and stop crime would be a cool thing, Ironman exhibited better effects and humour!

Jeremy, keep the videos coming, you are on a roll. Respectfully, Nicholas
