Twitter changed my life. I think it definitely brings a new dynamic to the business world. Twitter gives you more insight into a day in the life of Whoever You Follow.
September 16, 2008 at 4:00 pm
Tweet tweet!
You had strong praise for Twitter in your remarks so it only seems proper that your keynote be documented in real time on it.
September 15, 2008 at 7:21 pm
Twitter is great! But then again, I have tons of friends and we go out all the time!
September 15, 2008 at 6:10 pm

September 12, 2008 at 6:15 pm
Read from google reader (and guess any other rss) it’s quite a messy post.
September 12, 2008 at 6:57 pm
Haha yeah, I tried to read it from Google Reader and couldn’t scroll down to see all the comments. Had to click on through to read the post.
September 14, 2008 at 1:08 pm
Maybe it was all part of Shoemoney’s evil plan to get more people to click through to his site and increase his rankings!
Mwhahaha….
September 12, 2008 at 9:49 pm
Same story here – but clicking through to read it was worth the time!
September 12, 2008 at 6:08 pm
I wish I could be there!
September 12, 2008 at 6:01 pm
That is pretty awesome, it’s like the starbucks twitter board.
September 12, 2008 at 5:48 pm
Jeremy,
You are so right about Twitter changing the dynamic. And at this conference, it was not just Twitter, it was the Ustream chat shown on the TV screens. Ustream was the official channel and Twitter was the “backchannel.” People seemed to be a little nicer in the Ustream chat than in the Twitter messages.
I saw you checking out the TV screen during the afternoon panel, probably a good idea to make sure you were staying on topic.
It really makes the speaker be on their game. I expand on this a little in my blog post.

September 12, 2008 at 5:26 pm
wow talk about instant feedback…. definitely changes things.
September 12, 2008 at 4:37 pm
Lots of people mentioning you. Thats good to know. I mentioned you today on someones elses blog.
September 12, 2008 at 4:36 pm
Did you just get the world record for longest blog post?
September 12, 2008 at 6:25 pm
I was thinking that. Slows the page load down too.
September 12, 2008 at 4:34 pm
Its like its not just you and who you talk to anymore. Its like a delayed live chat between everyone at the conference, evolving as the conference progresses. Its like experiencing the conference from many different angles and perspectives all at once, or so it seems to me. Thats really cool.
September 12, 2008 at 4:15 pm
haha, I hear you, can’t wait for your keynote
September 12, 2008 at 4:01 pm
Wow that’s a lot of comments
September 15, 2008 at 1:16 pm
Funny what a t-shirt will do huh?
September 12, 2008 at 3:44 pm
Very cool, Jeremy. I’m not sure what they’re thinking charging just $50 for a conference like that, but looks like it’s great stuff bit some big names. I checked out your keynote this morning and I thought you did a fantastic job. First time keynoting? I’m sure many will follow. It wasn’t as good as your presentation at the latest Elite Retreat but still very inspiring.
September 15, 2008 at 1:16 pm
Im sure they thought they wanted to give information to the people without raping them on the price
September 12, 2008 at 3:44 pm
“OMG, I totally just took a leak next to @shoemoney – LOLz!”
It definitely changes the dynamic…
September 12, 2008 at 3:12 pm
I really enjoyed your keynote this morning. It was inspiring and well worth the paper I wrote notes on.
September 12, 2008 at 3:11 pm
Impressive. Good advice to never shake hands in the bathroom (or right outside). Hey, what tools do you use to cut and paste all those tweets into your posts? They all appear to be perfectly sized.
September 12, 2008 at 3:10 pm
Twitter sure is changing how conferences are run. Ditto on Steven’s comment up there. An awesome speech there. The video was a bit slow for me, but the sound was working fine here, so at least I got to hear a good portion of it. Thanks!
September 12, 2008 at 3:08 pm
Bravo Shoemoney. very impressed. I hope I can see you Live from there
September 12, 2008 at 3:02 pm
It was a great speech! There was a whole lot of discussion on the Ustream chat board as well. Even more interesting things that got said there.
September 12, 2008 at 3:02 pm
I haven’t gotten to watch your keynote speech video just yet, going to after this comment. It’s amazing the power that Twitter has and it has sure opened up the communication channels between people.
September 12, 2008 at 5:08 pm
Just like Rick Sanchez from CNN, everybody is Twittering.
September 12, 2008 at 9:46 pm
It’s interesting that a person can read through the talk on twitter and take note of all the major bullet points from the speech, especially when it’s non-coordinated bits of multiple conversations.
September 15, 2008 at 1:18 pm
Not to mention you also have to refresh… I wish twitter was more like Digg Spy.
