Affiliate Marketers Give Back

by Jeremy Schoemaker on September 10, 2008 · 54 comments

We are here at MarketLeverage in Orlando, FL filming a behind the scenes episode and I just learned that Debbie Phillps, Jen Fluker and Missy Ward are going to be walking SIXTY (60 miles) in Seattle this weekend to raise money to fight breast cancer.

I can’t think of a better charity to support.

Its a great cause and if you want to help these ladies out click here to donate. (and earn a kiss from Debbie at a future show as seen in the video)

I wish I could give more but I am already giving to charity in other areas and I am also losing money because I am reinvesting back into my entrepreneurs blog and my online business.
But this is a great cause and I support it 100%

Jeremy,

Thanks for the post. As Team Captain of Team Affiliate Marketers Worldwide, I’m proud to say that we’ve raised over $46,000 so far for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation — nearly triple the amount that we raised last year.

The grants from this foundation are responsible for every advancement in breast cancer research, treatment, education and prevention in the last 25 years.

We’ll be blogging the entire trip on http://www.AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com or you can follow us along at http://www.twitter.com/amgb.

Thanks again for the shout-out. It is very much appreciated.

I agree, that’s a great cause. It’s one of the causes that are not as popular and supported in charity.

That’s great. I had a relative who died from breast cancer when she was 31. She had been in remission for a while, but it came back suddenly. She had two young boys at the time as well. Tragic.

Walking 60 miles takes quite a long time. It’s a couple days worth of walking at an average pace. I had no idea Market Leverage was here in Orlando. Not that they’d invite the likes of me in for a tour ;) .

Its definitely a noble cause. My best friend lost his mom to it and I dont understand why this stuff is so hard to stop. Theres a ton of money in science and research. Its just theres too much politics. My two cents.

This is a great cause, walking the 60 miles is BRUTAL… it might not sound bad at 20 miles a day but my neighbor did it recently and it was vicious.
