Very cool card for tonights fights.
I like Chuck Liddell over Rashad and Hammil to Upset Rich Franklin.
Fighters.com has credentials for the UFC88 event and have some awesome interviews:
Chuck Liddell:
Rich Franklin:
Rashad Evans:
Matt Hammil :

Kick ass….great interviews. I’d say the interviewer could use a bit more enthusiam though….:)

I agree! It was monotone and not very interesting. Is he even a fan of fighting?

Agreed with these two… I’m not a fan, but at least I can put some excitement into my voice

I agree - a great interview starts and relies heavily on a good interviewer…as opposed to the interviewee, surroundings, questions, etc
[Reply]
ajaz Reply:
September 6th, 2008 at 8:20 pm
I disagree, the interviewer should not matter, if they aren’t very good, it allows more opportunity for the interviewee to control the interview.
[Reply]
Sweet interviews. A mic hookup to the figher would be nice so the voice is a little more clear.

From what I see, Franklin seems confident enough to take care of what he says he needs to take care of.

Nothing is better than making money and running business with something you love. Your business of Fighters.com and getting to work with UFC is awsome… it would be like me running Ballers.com (or whatever..) getting to interview and play ball with nba players!
Looking forward to seeing how big this gets!

My boy Rashad is going to destroy Chucky. Chuck is a good fighting ufc veteran, but my money is on Rashad.
[Reply]
ajaz Reply:

Don’t underestimate the veteran. It’s more about skill and experience now then just strength and power. Submission holds are on the rise….
[Reply]
Thats crazy man, you get to chill with all the UFC fighters, thats a kickass business.
[Reply]
I do need a mic! And, that WAS enthusiasm…

I agree with previous comments: more enthusiasm in interviews and audio quality better, interviews would be fantastic!

Chucks pretty bad a$$. The episode of him in Entourage is hilarious.

Shoe,
I gotta go just the opposite with Rashad and Rich to take the night.
Good card anyway it goes. Enjoy.

What video player are you using here? Is it the wordpress default?
Just curious. Thanks… ok I just right-clicked and hit “about” - ok
Anyone else using this with wordpress? How do you find it!
Thanks and I’m with Chuck tonight!

Go Chuck!!!
[Reply]
wow, great interview… the sounds isnt that fine though..

Shoe, I have a question, what is the point of this blog. I know you do it to attract and make money off advertisers but what is the point of your content. Most of it is sophomoric with the occasional snippet of what someone else is doing online but you offer no worthwhile information for an affiliate marketer.
Just curious

don’t hate the player - hate the game…and you’re free to come and play anytime you want to.
That’s what all these affiliate, pyramid people are doing

Lawrence Reply:

as soon as you capture a significant following - you can blog about donuts, or why the color of sh8t is brown…and you’d still see your success climb

Very cool being able to do this and be part of the action/event. It just shows that owning a business can open many opportunities. It will be a good show.
[Reply]
I’m also predicting chuck for the win and matt hammil for the upset.
I’m pissed that karo suddenly has a back injury. only he know if that’s real but it doesn’t seem like karo to run from a fight so i don’t know
[Reply]
rashad knock that joker out
[Reply]
Can we start a new blog called “Bet Against Shoemoney?” Easiest money ever made.
Seriously, love the Fighters.com and thanks for being such an avid UFC fan. If the stars align properly, we’ll see Penn vs St.Pierre, Silva vs Griffin and Lesnar (not Coutore) vs Fedor - last bout will never happen.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Florian vs Faber as well, but they might not be able to settle on a weight division.
[Reply]
that was a brutal hit, second one was on the way to an out-cold liddell

Daaaam, Chuck got knocked the cluck out lol

I was there for the fight in Atlanta. I thought Liddell was dead. This was my first fight and I didn’t know much about the fighters. When I saw Liddell I wondered what all the fuss was about. He looked like an out of shape bouncer at a biker bar. I didn’t like Evans personally but he was clearly in good shape.
I wasn’t surprised at the outcome
[Reply]
I didn’t know you were a UFC fan. My money is on Evans.
