Very cool card for tonights fights.

I like Chuck Liddell over Rashad  and Hammil to Upset Rich Franklin.

Fighters.com has credentials for the UFC88 event and have some awesome interviews:

Chuck Liddell:

Rich Franklin:

Rashad Evans:

Matt Hammil :

Kick ass….great interviews. I’d say the interviewer could use a bit more enthusiam though….:)

Reply

8 Paul September 6, 2008 at 4:01 pm

I agree! It was monotone and not very interesting. Is he even a fan of fighting?

Reply

9 Moneybites September 6, 2008 at 4:44 pm

Agreed with these two… I’m not a fan, but at least I can put some excitement into my voice

Reply

10 Berry September 6, 2008 at 10:11 pm

I was going to mention the same thing!

Horrible interviews.

Reply

11 Lawrence September 6, 2008 at 6:28 pm

I agree – a great interview starts and relies heavily on a good interviewer…as opposed to the interviewee, surroundings, questions, etc

Reply

12 ajaz September 6, 2008 at 8:20 pm

I disagree, the interviewer should not matter, if they aren’t very good, it allows more opportunity for the interviewee to control the interview.

Reply

13 Patrick September 6, 2008 at 11:53 am

Sweet interviews. A mic hookup to the figher would be nice so the voice is a little more clear.

Reply

14 Rekzai September 6, 2008 at 12:18 pm

Agreed.

Reply

15 ajaz September 6, 2008 at 8:21 pm

I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully they will do this next time.

Nothing is better than making money and running business with something you love. Your business of Fighters.com and getting to work with UFC is awsome… it would be like me running Ballers.com (or whatever..) getting to interview and play ball with nba players!

Looking forward to seeing how big this gets!

Reply

Ditto on that Zac. I wish I could set some football (soccer) site up and associate with Beckham, Ronaldinho, Henry, and the likes.

My boy Rashad is going to destroy Chucky. Chuck is a good fighting ufc veteran, but my money is on Rashad.

Reply

30 ajaz September 6, 2008 at 8:23 pm

Don’t underestimate the veteran. It’s more about skill and experience now then just strength and power. Submission holds are on the rise….

Shoe, I have a question, what is the point of this blog. I know you do it to attract and make money off advertisers but what is the point of your content. Most of it is sophomoric with the occasional snippet of what someone else is doing online but you offer no worthwhile information for an affiliate marketer.

Just curious

Reply

63 Jeremy Schoemaker September 6, 2008 at 7:00 pm

Its a true blog… just a place I post things. I have never claimed its a educational resource.

Thanks for reading.

Reply

64 Melvin September 6, 2008 at 9:53 pm

thats why most people like this blog.
It’s a personal blog and most people think by following this blog they can also become a super affiliate.. LOL

Reply

65 Lawrence September 6, 2008 at 7:15 pm

don’t hate the player – hate the game…and you’re free to come and play anytime you want to.

That’s what all these affiliate, pyramid people are doing

Reply

66 Lawrence September 6, 2008 at 7:17 pm

as soon as you capture a significant following – you can blog about donuts, or why the color of sh8t is brown…and you’d still see your success climb

Can we start a new blog called “Bet Against Shoemoney?” Easiest money ever made.

Seriously, love the Fighters.com and thanks for being such an avid UFC fan. If the stars align properly, we’ll see Penn vs St.Pierre, Silva vs Griffin and Lesnar (not Coutore) vs Fedor – last bout will never happen.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Florian vs Faber as well, but they might not be able to settle on a weight division.

I was there for the fight in Atlanta. I thought Liddell was dead. This was my first fight and I didn’t know much about the fighters. When I saw Liddell I wondered what all the fuss was about. He looked like an out of shape bouncer at a biker bar. I didn’t like Evans personally but he was clearly in good shape.
I wasn’t surprised at the outcome
