Shoemoney goes Behind The Scenes at Media Breakaway
Our next Behind the Scenes segment takes us to Denver, Colorado to visit the affiliate company Media Breakaway (parent company of CPA
Empire). We were able to schedule the segment to coincide with their “Breakaway Event“, so we got to see their offices as well as spend some time with some of their affiliates at the conference.
Overall the trip was awesome. We had a great time, and came home with a ton of footage. After a lot of work, we were able to cut the footage down to 2 segments. One segment is filmed at their offices, and the other is at the event.
We flew into Denver on a Wednesday, and had a not so great flight. Probably could have drove it quicker than we flew. They put us up in a hotel that was next to their offices, so we got up Thursday morning and filmed all day at the Media Breakaway headquarters.
After we got done filming, we moved hotels to the conference hotel which was more downtown Denver. And we spent Thursday night and Friday filming the conference events. The Breakaway Event that they threw for their affiliates was crazy. Between the great food, free drinks, and clubs that they reserved for our private event, they went all out.
Below are both segments of the behind the scenes. These are the shortened versions, but you can view the full length versions here.
We’d like to thank Media Breakaway for showing us such a good time.
If your company would like to fly us in and have us do a “Behind the Scenes” meeting your staff and asking what makes your company tick then please use the contact form or email tigh at shoemoney.com for more information. We are already booked through October with more behind the scenes segments.

We will be filming a behind the scenes at Market Leverage and also Izeafest.
We have 8 other companies in queue that we are flying to their offices to do behind the scenes still in 2008

Awesome video… I actually watched the whole thing which is impressive considering my 10 second attention span.
My favorite parts? The compliance discussion, for sure.
“do you guys have to like get in there with trademarks or anything like that?!”
Also, I know ringtones are huge–everyone knows it–but I gotta say I’m so sick of Affiliate Managers saying “mobile’s really hot right now” when you ask them what offers are good. WE KNOW! It’s been that way for years… Wish they would tell us something a little more unique/helpful
[Reply]
That’s cool, will watch later. Btw, I just noticed adsense ads for tools.shoemoney.com — are you sure you want to do that?

how do you track affiliate sales?
I was able to tour the place 2 weeks prior to the breakaway conference with my AM and it was great. You are right about the break room, wow lots of stuff. I’d be jacked up on RedBull everyday.
Excellent video and we’re glad you can get access like this, I wouldn’t have been able to film. I”m just a little guy.
