GoodPersuasiveSpeechTopics.com - Free Shirt Friday

By tbuck 57 comments

GoodPersuasiveSpeechTopics is a site that lists topics for you to write papers on.  The site was done pretty badly, and the shirt looks like I made it myself.  But I guess if you can’t think of a topic for a paper, maybe the site would guide you.  But I doubt it…

Thanks for the shirt guys.

It may inspire you to click their banner ad and sign up for the University of Phoenix Online though.

Again, another photo where you look like you’re about to snap at someone. You should do polar extremes. A photo where you’re completely expressionless and a photo with such a wide smile that it makes you look insane.

Wow that website is brutal, looks like it was made in 1995 and hasn’t seen an update since. And I’m sure your kids could make a better looking t-shirt.

You guys can’t hate on shoemoney. You give him a shirt, he gives you a honest review. Thats not a bad deal, how many of you went to the site? see the shirt works. It’s alot cheaper to give shoe a shirt, than to pay johnchow.com 500 bucks and get the same “i hate your site” review. Which would you rather spend?

    Shoe;

Come on, you’re too harsh! Did you check out the “Interesting Speech Topics”? I was actually getting ready to write a speech and was stumped… now I’m just trying to decide between “Stop bedwetting the safe way” and “Potty train your child in one day”.

I like the shirt, the logo look just like the logos on the vista print free business card logos or somewhere else. I was going to use a modified one just like that for a custom home business I was partnering with a builder about 4 years ago.

They probably would have been better off e-mailing the image on the shirt to you and giving you instructions for ironing it on to a plain white t-shirt. For the site, I get the feeling that the only hits it’s going to get will be from this post.

Looks like somebody took the picture while Shoe was looking at the site. I probably looked like Shoe when I visited that awful looking site.

I did a double-take when I saw the pic - I thought you were wearing the shirt I sent! I had used that ‘logo’ for my biz cards once. Then I remembered, though, that I used my own logo on the shirt. Duh! That image doesn’t seem to really fit their site, I wonder why they chose it…hmm…

I guess it takes months and months to wear all the shirts, because, you’re sent so many, huh? Are there instances where you just don’t present a shirt that was sent to you?

If you’re going to bother creating a t shirt for a site to get some exposure, at least have a site that would make me want to stay there longer than .02 seconds.

  38. Brent Weaver said on June 29th, 2008 at 3:49 am

Eh, really all the site/shirt needs is a little marketing. With a complete crap site, wouldn’t it be much better if the shirt was of a kappa girl and the quote:

    “Persuading women into one-night-stands since 1995. -goodpersuasivespeachtopics.com”

Could make that with clip art in 90 seconds…website is still crap.

Jack, let’s be honest. This is an MFA site. It’s hard to respect them. Of course people don’t send Shoemoney their shirts because they think Shoemoney needs more shirts. They want publicity, obviously. Which is good for those making a serious attempt at running a website, but Good Persuasive Speech Topics is a joke. It looks like they threw together a t-shirt specifically to send to Shoemoney in my opinion.
