Just got pinged from Joe Daley, the owner of Blingeasy about the sites big launch today. The site lets you add some really fun and cool effects to your pictures very easily. Joe has written this site completely by himself and has spent hardly any money on the project. He is a one man shop.
I really love startups like this. So many people want to believe in the get rich quick overnight stuff but sites like blingeasy will stand the test of time if they can reach a tipping point.
Here are some pics I made:
Best of luck Joe I think its a neat idea.

Ha nice work on the second pic bro.
Seen many of these sites popping around lately, pretty sweet idea actually I am thinking about implementing a feature like this on my image hosting website picpanda.com
very fun looking site. I doubt I will use i, but I can see myspacers all over this!
I forwarded this off to my friend that still uses Microsoft Paintbrush to Photoshop things.
I’d never use it, but i have a pretty good idea this is going to be huge. This is so much better than any of the social media resource websites out there now.
That’s hilarious, I have to show this to my photoshop friend. he will love it.
Thank you for posting this up, this bling easy is exactly what I have been searching for.
Pretty cool indeed. Shoe, I like your first pic
Funny
There go all the Myspace resource sites…
i was thinking myspace as well.
Nice! And the second gif is ROCKS !!!
I just made a nice glitter !
The site is imiginative and think a lot of young people will play on it. BTW where can I get one of those rat/cat looking pets
Ugh MySpace all over again.. 14 year old girls I am sure are all going to be using this…
nice. I might start using this to edit my blog post photos! Could be interesting
perez hilton could have fun with this, i am thinking of some of the pics from there that could get modded a bit
impressive for sure.
Shoe,
Thats a cool tool, Just blinged an R-6 on my site.
I love to read posts like this from Jeremy. It is great that Jeremy provide his pictures, makes fun of himself, use charisma.
Web marketers and bloggers should learn a lot and do the same.
wow, this is cool.. is the service free?
Good idea but Bingee.com is doing this from 2006!
Thanks Jeremy for sharing, really love this free stuff!
There are quite a few of these out there already, some very popular too, but they are pretty cool and fun. And they are viral by their very nature so this could do well even with all the competition. Blingeasy looks like it was very well done too!
Joe, If you want to advertise or exchange links with some myspace sites let me know lol ;).
This looks pretty neat!
zomg i love it. Just wish it was my idea to do it
I prefer http://www.blingee.com but this is decent…
Haha nice pics!
Thanks for sharing this.
Now I have something new to edit my myspace pics with
Pretty neat… now to edit out that annoying watermark on the bottom right of all the images.
Wow thats some cool effects. With a product so good,I’m sure Joe will do well.
A bit on the basic side, and quite rough….so definitely not a conventional design resource, but good for some fun pimping out pics, as per Jeremy’s cool examples. Definitely something the social media sites will find useful, but for serious design work.
Good luck to the man and his bling easy mission. Kudos to you for the free punt, Jeremy!
so stupid
cool idea but i think its already been done a few times
Wow, that looks pretty cool. I haven’t seen anything like it before.
I wish it loaded faster though. I hate waiting to just thumb through items. I didn’t end up finishing the one because it was a bit slow.
i love this and wish i could put the dancing cat in our company photo
A cool idea, now I can edit funny looking pictures and place it on my blog.
http://jeflin.net
except for the fact that it creates grainy, pixelated messes…
Agreed…now to match the tan on the body to the face. Photoshop can do that, but can this?
Definitely a “kids” toy….
d-bag
That is great! I can’t wait until more people get a hold of this and we really see some fun animation on websites.
Hehe, it seems to be useful for MySpace Communities, not me though…
I love your MacBook Air Mr. Shoemaker. !
This is really cute effects. ShoeMoney action in CUTE.
Haha, cute. I’m sure the Photoshop-illterate will be happy to try out BlingEasy. ;D
Probably because of the traffic surge. Well, hopefully.
LOL nice one, seems like great functionality
Looks a nice thing. I am photoshop illeterate, might use it hehe
Please define D-bag!
I second that. Its ugly and advertising, doesnt look good.
Why is it stupid? I think it looks pretty cool
Myspacers always find a way to these kinds of stuff. When I goto people’s profiles sometimes, like a teen posted links to their myspace in teen forums….I find only such glittery stuff all over their comments.
Yep
cool effects I blogged about this service too and I made a cool funny pic with it!
Looks like the review on Shoe’s Blog has blown up their servers =))
You look funny with these two picture hahahh >> look nice
gifs only make 256 colors
That’s really cool.
Money aint a thang. I can see this stuff going ALL OVER myspace.
Look at Shoe … all blinged out! LOL
Darin
What a great resource, I was looking into getting a tool like this, but could not find anything, this is perfect. Thanks Shoe!
Looks like a fun site, but don’t know how well it’ll hold up.
After taking a 2nd look, i agree with the earlier posts…it’s a kid’s toy, but not real useful.
How much will it cost to get a few photos jazzed up?
