Just got pinged from Joe Daley, the owner of Blingeasy about the sites big launch today. The site lets you add some really fun and cool effects to your pictures very easily. Joe has written this site completely by himself and has spent hardly any money on the project. He is a one man shop.
I really love startups like this. So many people want to believe in the get rich quick overnight stuff but sites like blingeasy will stand the test of time if they can reach a tipping point.
Here are some pics I made:
Best of luck Joe I think its a neat idea.

Very cool…thanks for the link!
July 9, 2008 at 12:04 am
How much will it cost to get a few photos jazzed up?
July 7, 2008 at 10:32 am
After taking a 2nd look, i agree with the earlier posts…it’s a kid’s toy, but not real useful.
July 7, 2008 at 10:18 am
Looks like a fun site, but don’t know how well it’ll hold up.
July 5, 2008 at 2:59 pm
What a great resource, I was looking into getting a tool like this, but could not find anything, this is perfect. Thanks Shoe!
July 4, 2008 at 3:47 pm
Look at Shoe … all blinged out! LOL

July 3, 2008 at 3:21 pm

July 3, 2008 at 3:12 pm
That’s really cool.
July 2, 2008 at 9:45 pm
gifs only make 256 colors
July 2, 2008 at 8:31 pm
You look funny with these two picture hahahh >> look nice
July 2, 2008 at 12:23 pm
Looks like the review on Shoe’s Blog has blown up their servers =))
July 1, 2008 at 4:44 pm
Yep
cool effects I blogged about this service too and I made a cool funny pic with it!
June 30, 2008 at 12:06 pm
Myspacers always find a way to these kinds of stuff. When I goto people’s profiles sometimes, like a teen posted links to their myspace in teen forums….I find only such glittery stuff all over their comments.
June 30, 2008 at 12:04 pm
Why is it stupid? I think it looks pretty cool
June 30, 2008 at 12:03 pm
I second that. Its ugly and advertising, doesnt look good.
June 30, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Please define D-bag!
June 30, 2008 at 12:01 pm

June 30, 2008 at 10:17 am
LOL nice one, seems like great functionality
June 30, 2008 at 9:31 am
Probably because of the traffic surge. Well, hopefully.
June 30, 2008 at 9:28 am
Haha, cute. I’m sure the Photoshop-illterate will be happy to try out BlingEasy. ;D
June 30, 2008 at 2:03 am
This is really cute effects. ShoeMoney action in CUTE.
June 28, 2008 at 3:28 pm

June 28, 2008 at 3:20 pm
Hehe, it seems to be useful for MySpace Communities, not me though…
June 27, 2008 at 6:29 pm
That is great! I can’t wait until more people get a hold of this and we really see some fun animation on websites.
June 27, 2008 at 5:12 pm
d-bag
June 27, 2008 at 10:03 am
Definitely a “kids” toy….
June 27, 2008 at 10:02 am
Agreed…now to match the tan on the body to the face. Photoshop can do that, but can this?
June 27, 2008 at 9:43 am
except for the fact that it creates grainy, pixelated messes…
June 27, 2008 at 9:25 am
A cool idea, now I can edit funny looking pictures and place it on my blog.

i love this and wish i could put the dancing cat in our company photo
June 27, 2008 at 8:45 am
I wish it loaded faster though. I hate waiting to just thumb through items. I didn’t end up finishing the one because it was a bit slow.
June 27, 2008 at 8:12 am
Wow, that looks pretty cool. I haven’t seen anything like it before.
June 27, 2008 at 7:14 am
cool idea but i think its already been done a few times
June 27, 2008 at 6:00 am
so stupid
June 27, 2008 at 5:42 am
Good luck to the man and his bling easy mission. Kudos to you for the free punt, Jeremy!
June 27, 2008 at 5:38 am
A bit on the basic side, and quite rough….so definitely not a conventional design resource, but good for some fun pimping out pics, as per Jeremy’s cool examples. Definitely something the social media sites will find useful, but for serious design work.
June 27, 2008 at 2:50 am
Wow thats some cool effects. With a product so good,I’m sure Joe will do well.
June 26, 2008 at 11:19 pm
Pretty neat… now to edit out that annoying watermark on the bottom right of all the images.
June 26, 2008 at 10:13 pm
Haha nice pics!
Thanks for sharing this.
Now I have something new to edit my myspace pics with
June 26, 2008 at 9:52 pm
I prefer http://www.blingee.com but this is decent…
June 26, 2008 at 9:42 pm
zomg i love it. Just wish it was my idea to do it
June 26, 2008 at 9:09 pm
This looks pretty neat!
June 26, 2008 at 9:06 pm
There are quite a few of these out there already, some very popular too, but they are pretty cool and fun. And they are viral by their very nature so this could do well even with all the competition. Blingeasy looks like it was very well done too!
Joe, If you want to advertise or exchange links with some myspace sites let me know lol
.
June 26, 2008 at 9:00 pm
Thanks Jeremy for sharing, really love this free stuff!
June 26, 2008 at 8:25 pm
Good idea but Bingee.com is doing this from 2006!
June 26, 2008 at 8:07 pm
wow, this is cool.. is the service free?
September 9, 2008 at 10:40 pm
i think it is free
June 26, 2008 at 6:49 pm
I love to read posts like this from Jeremy. It is great that Jeremy provide his pictures, makes fun of himself, use charisma.
Web marketers and bloggers should learn a lot and do the same.
June 26, 2008 at 6:14 pm
Shoe,
Thats a cool tool, Just blinged an R-6 on my site.
June 26, 2008 at 5:12 pm
impressive for sure.
June 26, 2008 at 3:54 pm

June 26, 2008 at 3:30 pm

June 26, 2008 at 3:06 pm

June 26, 2008 at 3:05 pm

Thank you for posting this up, this bling easy is exactly what I have been searching for.
June 26, 2008 at 12:53 pm
That’s hilarious, I have to show this to my photoshop friend. he will love it.
June 26, 2008 at 12:46 pm
I’d never use it, but i have a pretty good idea this is going to be huge. This is so much better than any of the social media resource websites out there now.
June 26, 2008 at 12:35 pm
I forwarded this off to my friend that still uses Microsoft Paintbrush to Photoshop things.
June 26, 2008 at 12:09 pm
very fun looking site. I doubt I will use i, but I can see myspacers all over this!
June 26, 2008 at 12:08 pm
Seen many of these sites popping around lately, pretty sweet idea actually I am thinking about implementing a feature like this on my image hosting website picpanda.com
June 26, 2008 at 12:03 pm
