You snatch at whatever you can get, because that's what you need; anyone that will read or advertise with you. When you aren't even clearing a hundred bucks a month, if someone says they will work with you, you'll usually take it. Mostly, I just pull advertisers that work deals with JC and SM, because I figure that they will be more reputable. At the same time, I don't pull new advertisers from small blogs, b/c if they are getting scammed, I don't want to be too. Once six months or so has gone by, and my traffic is up, I'll decide who is paying and who isn't so that I can do some triage. It’s hard being new.
