Foster57.com - Free Shirt Friday

34 responses..

Foster57.com is a google adsense search page. I couldn’t find much info on the company.

I have to say I was a little disappointed, because I thought maybe the Foster was for Foster’s Beer. Oh well.

That is a nice link to some google search. I wonder if it makes money.

Google.com is a pretty good link to some google search too.

I did a search at Google with Foster57 and the top result is a T-SHirt page…
    foster57.com/tshirt.html

Which you can’t get to from the main page, unless I just don’t see it.

    @May 16, 2008 4:24 pm

I wonder if the site had content a year ago when they sent shoe the shirt?

Got to love a person who wants a Foster’s shirt…. not quite as good as the Kangamurra ones from SES NYC but they don’t suck

Can anyone understand what this company does other then send out tee shirts? I guess it’s just a marketing project.

Heh, that’s weird… If you’re going to spend money making shirts to give to people in order to advertise, at least make it for a site that would make you money…

Talk about branding, I instantly thought about beer. All the best tomorrow at the 5k. Run hard and fast and don’t drink until afterwards. :)

LOL i love it :-) — basically, ANYONE can have any crazy ass site featured on shoemoney.com — as long as you send shoe a t-shirt! I thought there was some “rules” about site quality but i guess not! I’m going to get 10 shirts made for my myspace resource sites. :-)

Got a favorite color shoe? Size L/XL? Oh, and are all these t-shirts better quality then transfer paper? Like that cool rubber you get on high quality prints.

    Cheers :-)

Is that currently just a parked page waiting for construction to be completed or is that what it’s going to be?

I don’t even think that is within the terms of Adsense is it? So I think they need to add some content…and quick ;-)

I think there should be a standard for the Free Shirt. I mean we going to send you some but only when we feel that we meet your high standards, kick ass tshirt, with Shoe on the sleeve and a new site.

Well, I did the right thing and clicked on the Foster57.com link, and agreed, these guys need some more information on their site, as even the semi-informed doesn’t quite know what to make of it…..must have a high bou8nce rate on these clicks.

When I sent that shirt to ShoeMoney last year, we did have the site developed, but things changed. I just added some more content to the page to tell you a bit more about the domain. Sorry to disappoint everyone, Kim
