Seo Future, Monetizing Media, Callers Callers!

24 responses..

Yesterday on the ShoeMoney Show w/co host Jen Slegg we decided to go back to our roots and take live callers. Our first caller was Dutch Seo Joost Devalk. We debated a bit on the future of SEO (or lack there of) and I think he agrees with me and just does not know it yet….

We did a few site reviews and had several good callers.

    Very nice. Do you think this movement away from SEO is a good thing Shoe? Who will be the losers here?

    No future for SEO? Just like there was no future for advertising as they said a hundred years ago :-) SEO will and must develop, it will change and the evolution will go on. But no future? If there are no future for SEO it will be for other reasons like global warming or something like that…

    seo does have a future
    because google have monopolized the search engine market, people will always be researching how to get high ranks
    the only way seo will have no future is if we have a tonne of search engines come out with different algorithyms and even market shares

    am I the only one who can’t see the special stuff or any link to comments in the post immediately following this one? I just get a loose “)”, which makes me think that some code went wrong somewhere. Or maybe it’s not Firefox-friendly.

    Mp3 downloads definitely work for me

    @May 17, 2008 3:24 am

    A 65MB download is a bit much if you’re running near to your bandwith cap. Will have to download this from the office on monday, so will reserve judgement until then.

    @May 24, 2008 4:13 am

    Our bandwidth also costs a fortune, some countries in the world, like US I think it does not matter its free.

    I think the future of SEO will live on it will change a little but not much just my opinion

    Hmmm, your tongue in cheek comment suggestion you and Joost are actually in agreement does hold water, Jeremy….not so sure if he will agree though…..hahahahah
