by Jeremy Schoemaker on April 16, 2008 · 29 comments

Every day I get the same question-

Hi Shoe-
I have no money but I want to make money on the internet where should I start

On Yesterdays show our guest was CCB (chief cheese burger) of Icanhascheezeburger Mr. Ben Huh. Cheezeburger started as a $6.95 per month hosted site and just some guys with a fun idea and it has turned into a powerhouse.

You can listen to the show here. Its a pretty fascinating story:

After Ben left me and Jen talked about my being invited into the YouTube partner program, Google Toolbar data, twitter accounts for sale on eBay and I make a embarrassing confession =(

As always you can tune in live every tuesday 3PM Pacific, 4PM Mountain, 5pm Central, 6PM Eastern.

If you would like to ask questions during the show you can always Call in live, ask in the webmasterradio chat room during the show.. OR hit me on twitter during the show

I think if you don’t like to answer this question you should stop blogging because that’s the reason why people visit you blog everyday. To learn how to make money online.

Super interview. I love the site and I love the story behind it even more. These are topics I’d love to hear you cover more in the webcasts.

I like the interview as well. Every blogger has an interesting story. Each blog has its own history, and, because the Internet gives so many different people a platform, it’s fascinating to hear the stories of the most successful blogs.

Interesting story…. we hear that question all the time – although hard to do, we see it’s certainly somehow doable at times.

I think Icanhascheezeburger is a great example of how easy it is to take something popular on the net and turn it into something financial while keeping it fun at the same time. These “fads” are few and far between, well done to the Icanhascheezeburger crew :)

“Hi Shoe-
I have no money but I want to make money on the internet where should I start”

The above question could be answered clearly to everyone, they could be shown exactly how to make money…

Would there still be people that wouldn’t be able to take that and turn it into something that makes money?

The Question I’m most often asked is ‘I have no money but I need to make money in my business I started, how do I do that?’ – and this interview does a great job of answering that as well.
@Website Reviews: The most important part of making money ANYWHERE (not just online) Is not only to enjoy it, but also to go at it with a plan of attack. I agree about needing to stick with it!

Nice interview…I’ve been to the site several times and I still don’t understand what is so funny or great, it’s so lame. 2 million views a day? That is hard to believe.
