So last saturday I took my wife to see the movie “21″. I thought it was pretty good. I started coughing during the movie and later that night had trouble sleeping… Sunday night had a high fever and serious congestion… flu coming on. GREAT I have not been sick for ever and now the week of the elite retreat it comes on. I started dosing vitamin c pretty hard and also got on some anti-biotics. Monday rolled around and I was like totally bed ridden. I wanted to do a really good job on the April fools day “Make 1,000.00 in a day” thing but unfortunately I never even made it out of bed. The one I posted was like 2 weeks old and was a rehearsal. It seemed to do pretty good though. Its the 3rd most viewed page on shoemoney.com so far in 2008 and got a lot of pageviews on youtube and even 3 honors (most viewed, most commented, most linked etc) although i expect those to go away as time progresses.
Im kind of bummed cause I totally love april fools day. And even though I got that post up I really wanted to do a better job. O well.
Anyway health wise I am feeling much better. Will be totally good to go for the elite retreat. I would like to thank everyone on twitter for there well wishes and help with quick remedies !!

Theraflu is the only thing that works for me.
I think this is the fever of that 1k/hour video.
I have heard Echinacea works well to lessen the symptoms if you take it as soon as you feel something coming on and it prevents it form getting worse. I haven’t tested this so I’m not exactly sure if it works or not.

Sorry to hear that you’re sick. If you know it’s flu, you have to get to a clinic quick and get a scrip for Tamiflu. The stuff works (except that some flu is now tamiflu-resistant). But you have to hit it in the first 48 or it’s no good.
Well just popped off the old penicilin myself a few days ago, so I’m there with all of that. Re the retreat, I’ve made a deal with myself that if I make enough money to go next year, I’m there (provided it’s still on!). Anyway, even though I’ve only made $0.84 since I started four months ago, I’m a praying Shoemoney! I’m a praying!

The flu is a virus, not a bacterial infection. Anti-biotics won’t help. They’ll screw up your digestive system if you take’em too much, be careful.

Shoe, I had that last month. It’s been a tough year for the flu. I always use Airborne and Zicam and it knocks it out of your system faster. Get well….elite retreat will be awesome.
