PressAbout.com - Free Shirt Friday

PressAbout.com which is a free press release distribution service, decided to go one step further and customize their shirt specifically for my FSF. They seem to have a pretty cool service, so check em out.

the shirt looks ok but the site can definitely be improved. the black and white color combination is quite dull, like reading an old news paper

I really am just amazed at how many people send you free t-shirts… and these are only the ones we have seen, I am sure you don’t actually post 100% of what you receive on Fridays.

I think you should make some kind of t-shirt logo lineup one Friday that shows all the t-shirts you still have to “wear or show” and do a 20 t-shirt Friday. Just my $.02, I love seeing the new shirts each week.

The site is a little flat… go info, just not to eye catching. Scott

Hey Shoe, did you ever consider auctioning off some of your free shirt friday paraphenalia on eBay (or Christie’s:)), kind of like with an ‘As Seen On Shoemoney” premium value thang? LIke homes that appeared in movies or hotels where famous people stayed, can get higher prices.

Hey Shoemoney - thanks a lot for the FSF post. Just returned from a trip away over the Easter weekend to see your post up - you didn’t take the hint and use the desired keyword phrase though And to the other commenters, yeah yeah the t-shirt is a little unattractive - unfortunately I’m no designer - but he can’t give it away can he, it’s got his name on it.

I was going to say it’s great marketing to put his name on it - but it’s kind of terrible marketing not to ask someone for help if you think your own business’ shirt is ugly

I have to agree the shirt leaves me wondering what were they trying to get across with the link code or even the need to let you know that it’s your free t-shirt. Maybe there is a joke in there that I’m too slow to see.
