Just watched last weeks Lost eps. Thought it was kind of weak. A bit sappy. So now we know who the oceanic six are.

Maybe I’m missing someone but I think it’s only at 5 right now. I got Kate, Sayid, Sun, Hugo, and Jack. It wasn’t my favorite episode but I thought it was better than last weeks.

I figured it was sun and jin by the way people were blogging but the question was what was up w/ Jin? Lost his memory and everyone thinks he’s dead?

I’m just ready to see what Micheal will do to get his son back….*cue Lost intro*

Who are you counting as the six? I only count five: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, and Sun. Jin is dead (his portion of the episode was a flashback, not a flash forward.) Aaron doesn’t count because he wasn’t on the Oceanic flight, and the same goes for Ben. I think we’re still waiting for them to reveal one more survivor.

I thought it was pretty good. I’m still a little confused by the sun/jin thing but I think Jin was a flashback and sun was a flash forward. So no memory loss thing. I think he’s still alive on the island but they had to put up a headstone since everyone thinks he’s dead.

Hey mate. Yeh i was confused. The show keeps going back and then forward way to much. Jack seems to contradict himself and look confused every episode at the moment. And in return i am confused.

It was alright. Definitely not bad though…

Yea i will have to agree with you on that one, however, it’s still one of my all-time favorite shows.

It was OK. I liked the end because Jin is buried at Moanalua Gardens. I take my boy there all the time. It’s got some amazing trees.

Here is a Hitichi commercial. (Hitichi uses one of the larger trees as the companies primary brand icon)

No, he’s definitely dead by the way Sun was crying. And there’s no way Sun would go without Jin.

Are you kidding? Sun/Jin was one of my favourite story lines.

I just got caught up on Jericho. Haven’t been watchibg Lost :-/ Jericho is pretty cool though, and CBS has all of the episodes on InnerTube. Nice and easy to get caught up.

I agree too… Still one more to go… My gut says #6 is Michael. We’ll get the answer next week.

I’m just waiting for the next season of 24. I feel like I’m lost without it.

Did anyone notice the date of death on Jin’s headstone? It was 9-22-2004, which is the date the Lost Pilot aired.

Agree with the others, we’re only at 5.. You can’t count Aaron since he wasn’t on a passenger on the plane, and the same goes for Ben. It took me awhile to realize that the Jin scenes were flashes from the past. Good episode..

the sixth was the little baby Aaron

If you go back a few episodes, they mention that 8 got off the island, but only 6 survived. They are the oceanic 6. Also, what’s whith Hurley? Is he out of the phsyco ward or hasn’t he gone in yet?

And Michael? Where is walt? is he still on the island?

They can feel free to start answering some questions now. Anytime they are ready ;-)

I guess Aaron (the baby) is considered one of the Oceanic Six.

Apparently, there is a consensus out there that Aaron counts. I don’t agree with that, but I guess we have the 6.

This was one of the best episodes this season! It had both a flash forward AND a flash back. It toyed with the viewer in much the same way some of our great movies have (i.e., The Usual Suspects, Memento). It was great.

27 Flimjo March 16, 2008 at 8:02 am

Yes!!!! I guess there is some conspiracy or something by the people who made it off the island to portray it as if only they survived the plane crash. That date is the date the plane crashed, and it looks like Jin “died” in the crash. This is such a strange thread running through these episodes. Why are the survivors making it look like only they survived and not everyone else?

And the preview from the week before explicitly said, “the LAST of the Oceanic 6 will be revealed.” Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Hurley, and Aaron. Done.

The show can definitely be confusing at times… If you miss out on an episode or 2 it’s very difficult to follow without catching up ;)

It’s funny. It wasn’t that hard to find. I just had to actually try to find it. I put a comment on a post a while back asking where to find it. If you mix ABCs site with Hulu / MSN, you can watch just about any show you want online. Shoe should start a network that aggregates all of that :-P

Hmmm, I think it *could* be Aaron. He was not born yet – but he was a (almost) passenger… :)

Sappy? No way man! Sun redeemed herself by confessing to Jin! She needed this so bad too, I think it’s just great they gave her a whole episode to do it. Plus it cemented my feelings about Lost; an incredible drama that’s true to the heart.

I need to check with the Lost forums, but I could of sworn that Locke was one of the Oceanic 6, but he died in the episode where Jack met Kate and told her about riding airlines on the golden ticket waiting for another crash.

Now that we know who the Oceanic 6 are (Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Hurley, and Aaron), is anyone as curious as I am as to how the rest of them perish???
AND I’m so excited Michael is back. Did I call the indicator in the credits or what? They would never have his name there (Harold Perrineau) if he wasn’t returning (believe me, I used to be a talent agent). You may have already determined who Ben’s mole is on the boat (sorry if I missed it and I’m forgetting something obvious), but does anyone think it must be Michael now?
Cheers,

Absolutely, it IS Aaron. He technically was on the plane, and there is no rule that his name had to be on the manifest.

38 Flimjo March 18, 2008 at 9:37 am

You know what, that is a GREAT point. What if Aaron isn’t the last of the Oceanic Six and, instead, it’s the person in the casket in last season’s finale?? That could be it!

Reply

39 Flimjo March 19, 2008 at 9:04 am

The only thing I’m thinking about the person in the casket is that, if it WAS one of the Oceanic Six, wouldn’t his or her death have had more publicity. There was no one at that wake.
