If they add value it&#039;s one thing, but most are blatant promotion attempts. I don&#039;t leave links in comments anymore at all now though. Just playing it safe... don&#039;t want to offend...</description>

		<description>I have a personal pet peeve for when people put a spammy phrase as their &quot;name&quot; in comments. I&#039;d much rather see a comment on my blog with the commenters name listed clearly, so that if I want to address them, I can do it personally.</description>

		<description>I agree...unless you have a post entirely relevant to the post you are commenting on...something that will answer other commenters questions, etc. And what about linking to another relevant website seperate from your site. I think URLS in comments are acceptable in certain situations.</description>
