So been using twitter the last couple days…
I am digging it this time around. Michael Gray took me outside @SMX and explained it to me and how he uses it. It was pretty fascinating and really eye opening. I also started using a application called twitterrific
Also while doing the radio show last night it really brought a whole new dimension.
Right now I feel as if Twitter is a nice in-between of a blog and a instant messenger client.
If you want to follow me I am @shoemoney or http://www.twitter.com/shoemoney and shoot me a @shoemoney !!!!
tweet on.

Yeah Twitter definitely has potential, but at the same time it kind of annoys me.

Never used twitter, never will. I just don’t understand. There are tools, however, I overuse in my daily quest for blogging, commenting and promoting.
March 11, 2008 at 8:41 pm
I still don’t know why everyone like twitter..
March 9, 2008 at 7:22 pm
Well, I just use twitter for my site and some friends, not so useful anyway.
March 9, 2008 at 6:36 pm
I know a lot of people don’t see the value in twittering (I’m one of them, I haven’t “seen the light, yet.”) But I’m glad you found a way to take advantage of the micro-blogging concept.

I’d love to hear more too, but I am guessing I’ll get some idea of what he told you from perusing your twitterings!

What no Windows twitterrific?
March 8, 2008 at 8:29 pm

March 8, 2008 at 4:06 am

March 7, 2008 at 3:15 pm
Can you make a post explaining what Greywolf explained to you? I STILL don’t get Twitter. I would love to hear about its potential usefulness. Could you clue us in on the conversation you had with him?
March 7, 2008 at 2:41 pm
Twitter is really good site, good to know it.
March 7, 2008 at 12:15 pm
I find twitter useful for a quick glance across a broad range of people, certainly helps in finding interesting topics to blog about, and provides some seriously entertaining snippets of conversations.

This is just like myspace and facebook right? I just find it harder to use but it looks great for networking. I have seen a lot of people in my industry on Twitter.
March 7, 2008 at 6:47 am
I will set up today an account with them, I hear so many people talking about it. It’s time to start using it and see how we can benefit from it!
March 7, 2008 at 5:25 am
Love twitter too, my sites are doing a lot better in the SERPS sinds I started using it. Great service!
March 6, 2008 at 9:24 pm
It is becoming quite addictive. I used to avoid it but now I get most of the breaking news from twitter. People like @646 keep you updated with earthquakes, @mrbabyman with social media etc.
March 6, 2008 at 9:21 pm
twitterific is not as good as TWHirl is. It is acceptable.
March 6, 2008 at 4:51 pm
Just started using twitter, still trying to learn how to use it, but it is extremely interesting
March 6, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Ok, the blogs, twitter are great now.
But i wonder, in a few years, what will be the nest thing to come out?
March 6, 2008 at 8:08 am
Twitter is great. I heard sending a message in twitter is one of the fastest way to get indexed by Google.
March 6, 2008 at 7:26 am
yeah now we understand why darren uses it…
March 6, 2008 at 6:36 am
Ditto. I checked it out after the show, but hadn’t given it any “real” thought. It seemed like it brought a cool dimension to the show.

Good to see you on twitter Shoe.
For PC users I can warmly recommend twhirl. It’s multi-platform so it’s an alternative for Mac-users too. It runs on Adobe Air. http://www.twhirl.org/

Seems something I would do too :p
March 5, 2008 at 10:48 pm
I think I’m twitted out.
March 5, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Jason Calacanis spams, you must be kidding!
March 5, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Man, I guess I’m going to have to twitter since everyone keeps talking about how great it is, I just have really had the motivation to check it out yet.
March 5, 2008 at 10:09 pm
I also recently started using twitter. It’s different and fun.
March 5, 2008 at 9:58 pm
Its fun until Jason Calcanis spams about him being live and wanting to chat. Good to see you there again Shoe.
March 5, 2008 at 8:14 pm
I almost forgot about twitter! It’s been a few weeks.
March 5, 2008 at 8:04 pm
If you endorse it, then I’ll probably try it out.
March 5, 2008 at 7:48 pm
Glad you finally came to an agreement with Twitter. Its as if people post to twitter first then make a blog post about it. So we get to find out first. Example would be the UK Earth Quake.
March 5, 2008 at 7:40 pm
Heya KD – tweeps… i can dig it!
March 5, 2008 at 7:24 pm
Good to see ya on there, Shoe!
It really wasn’t as fun and useful when not that many peeps were using it… but now that more and more peeps (or tweeps?) in our industry are adopting it, it has become a lot more useful… and more fun.
March 5, 2008 at 7:21 pm
I have heard so much about twitter and it has been in my to do list for a while now. Im just going to go ahead and test it out!
March 5, 2008 at 7:12 pm
