Kimbo Slice VS Tank Abbot & The Next Few Weeks

Speaking of MMA … We had people over last night for Elite XC’s card that was on Showtime in HD. I thought it was a really good card. Lots of great fights.

Even thought Rico Rodriguez looked surprisingly out of shape I thought he looked pretty good. I am amazed he made it to a decision and even more amazed it was a split decision.

Kimbo Slice I thought looked very impressive. He knocked out Tank Abbot in about 40 seconds. I had a opportunity to sponsor Kimbo a while back when he was doing all those street fights through a friend in Miami… I passed. It will be interesting when he fights someone decent. I thought Tank might give him a little something but the gas has left the Tank…

I am headed to New York Monday on business until Thursday. I have a few posts in the can but its going to be a slow month with all the conferences and stuff. I am headed to NYC this week then to Santa Clara for SMX then I have a short break before heading back to NYC.

Its wild how things come full circle… My business’s made the blog successful and now the blog is making the business’s more successful.

We had an overwhelming response from content writers with MMA experience. I am really excited about working in that space (not to mention going to all the events and being able to write them off as business trips. ).

Also if you are into PPC check out efficient ppc. Its a pretty slick tool… I will post more about it when I have time.

&& Also speaking of PPC redflymarkeing has some great posts on PPC. One of my favorites is the ultimate guide to Googles Dynamic Keyword Insertion Tool. I had used the DKI before but never knew you could do so many tricks with capitalization.

It would have been owner sooner if the ref had let kimbo do his thing, those hits werent; really looking like back of the head hits to me more to the side of the head. And that time out pick whatever fell in the ring. Seems like excuses to give em time to make sure tank caught his breath. He was out of it.

personally i don’t like kimbo, its not because i think hes not a good fighter its just I think he is overrated, hes extremely strong but honestly they are overselling him.
