Mclovin Id Maker - Superbad Review

People asked me what I want for xmas and I never know what to say… I always stop buying DVD’s around thanks giving and I just tell people to buy me a DVD of whatever they think I will like.

Well this year for Christmas I ended up getting Die Hard, Harry Potter, The Kingdom, and 6 copies of Superbad.

I watched Superbad 2 nights ago with my wife and omg… that movie is a fricking riot. If you have not seen it you need to go out and get it now.

I’ve heard great reviews on the movie but have not seen it myself. I have however seen the interview with mclovin himself on jimmy kimmel and it had a lot of funny moments. here’s the link to it on youtube… http://youtube.com/watch?v=fTMWNuIKF30

I really enjoyed SuperBad too, its nice to just switch your brain off for a while and watch ‘dumb teen comedy’

Man that drivers license looks way too much like the real real Hawaii Driver’s license out here in Hawaii. The rainbow is backwards though compared to a real one, but otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised if someone printed this out as a fake ID. Some mom & pop stores would still accept it too I bet.

We also have a lot of hippies who changed their names to just one part so just having a name by mclovin would pass too.

Strangely enough I also watched Superbad with my wife two days ago. My 18 year old son suggested we watch it - usually his tastes and mine are miles apart, but this time we are on the same page. The characters in this one are hilarious, especially McLovin.

Funny how they depict highschool life perfectly. McLovin is a funny dude.

I have found that if you are speaking to a group of people from 15 to 25 and you simply look into the audience and say the word McLovin, and shut up you are guaranteed a laugh. A cheap public speaking trick, but it works.

This should take at most 3 hours to program. Once you know php (or lamp with perl or php) and you have used GD once this is basically a quick programming task. photoshopping the initial image would have taken me as long to program… All you do is upload the image resize and put it on the original, then save it… Not much to it. That being said, props for doing it and it is very clean. watch it! it is a great movie - so funny almost every 5 minutes there is something to laugh at - seth facial expressions is a classic! the cops another hilarious duo - mclovin character is funny too! man the director deserves my hand shake =P

ya it didnt take long. my php knowlegdge is very weak but I did it in a few hours. I think it took longer to get the images just right

Honestly, I seen the movie and it is pretty dumb. Cops running away from other cops, the “F” word being said I believe 180 (and then some) times… the movies is pretty wild if you ask me. Not really all that funny but funny enough…
