You write an article and submit it to CSN. It is reviewed by CSN (using Amazon Mechanical Turk). If the article is approved it is then distributed by CSN to standard article directories and several other web sites that have indicated that they are interested in accepting articles on that topic. Just like regular article marketing you get to place a link to your own site in the resource section at the bottom of the article. Some web sites and article directories also accept links within the article itself. CSN takes care of formatting the article and removing links as required by each site that the article is submitted to. If you call EzineArticles.com, and other articles directories and article submission services, "cooperative linking systems" then I guess you can place CSN in that category too.
