Microsoft Affiliate Program
I got pinged a while back from Microsoft people that they were firing up a affiliate program. Then this morning got a email that they would love all the traffic I was sending Yahoo! and they were confident they could do some basic verification. (lol)
5staraffiliates has the scoop here
I was happy to see this in my email box this morn:

Subject: Welcome to the Microsoft Affiliate NetworkHi Jeremy,
The Microsoft Affiliate Network is proud to welcome you as an approved member. Your affiliate ID is xxxx. You now have access to the network where you can find available offers to promote.
Get started by logging into the affiliate account center here, http://www.microsoftaffiliates.net/login.aspx, with your Live ID.
The affiliate account center is your portal to find offers, view transaction status and statistics, get tips on how to optimize Microsoft content on your pages, pick up linking code and update your personal information.
Be sure to take a moment to fill out and return your W-9 form (US businesses/residents only) via fax, mail or email in order to receive commission checks. You can find the W9 form at http://microsoftaffiliates.net/forms/microsoft_w9.pdf. The network must have this form on file to release any payments you’ll earn. To avoid delays in payment, please return it right away.
Please let me know if you have questions or would like help getting started. Thank you again for being part of the Microsoft Affiliate Network. We look forward to working with you.
Greatest success,
Microsoft Affiliate Network
Ron Paul On Glenn Beck
Tonight on CNN Headline news Ron Paul will be on the Glenn Beck show. Dr Paul has been ducking the show for a long time and it will be interesting to see what happens
. I expect Glenn to give him a good test. Like I said before I like Dr Paul but many of his supporters turn me off so bad… Plus he seems to have all the answers (he likes internet gambling!). Dr Paul has money now so he has lost that excuse…
BTW: did you know Ron Paul came in 3rd in the 1988 presidential election? I have not had a local Ron Paul supporter know that yet =P.

I liked the article about the 10 Most Influential Dads in the Blogsphere! Pretty funny to see it on emoms.com though.
December 29, 2007 at 12:32 am
Thanks for the info. I’ve never heard of Microsoft Affiliate ever before.
December 26, 2007 at 3:11 pm

rereading the blog when it had my full attention was much better…
I hope to be on that Top Dads list… I just need to make the kids first…

December 24, 2007 at 2:27 pm
yes its good
December 21, 2007 at 9:58 pm
Ron Paul gets plenty of attention because of his overzealous supporters, but they also turn a lot of people off. Sort of a double-edged sword.
December 21, 2007 at 2:21 am
I’, not too confident about this program …but will see
December 20, 2007 at 2:19 pm
Yes i think its serious issue
December 19, 2007 at 10:23 pm
I wouldn’t vote for Ron Paul, but I don’t know if I’d go that far!
December 19, 2007 at 7:36 pm
Wahoo. Just got accepted into Microsofts affiliate program!
Woo.
December 19, 2007 at 4:29 pm
Anyone who listens to anything Ron Paul says and gives it any iota of thought should kill themselves now and save Darwin the trouble.
December 19, 2007 at 4:18 pm
Welcome to capitalism, and that better not be a complaint.
December 19, 2007 at 3:05 pm
I’d love to see Ron Paul get eaten by Glenn Beck tonight, but I don’t get CNN.
December 19, 2007 at 2:23 pm
Thats very good to hear it thanks
December 19, 2007 at 1:45 pm
Ron Paul certainly has the online gambling world backing him 100%. He supports legalizing internet casinos and poker rooms. Not sure that’s worth my vote, and its what I do for a living, but it will influence some people.
December 19, 2007 at 1:32 pm
Been ducking Beck? Are you kidding??
December 19, 2007 at 8:27 am
Let’s hope this affiliates worthy and not just a SPAM
December 19, 2007 at 8:01 am
I think I’m going to check into this program. Thanks for the info
December 19, 2007 at 1:35 am
shoe,
i support ron paul but really have researched him and i understand him. I hate how there are tons of people who just like him because of him wanting to end the DEA etc. He stands to really let the states lead instead of the government running everything. He feels that the government is overstepping its bounds with 1. spending our tax dollars and 2. monitoring our lives. He really stands for something and is pretty fucking sick shoe

p.s. to bad im not 18 / cant vote
December 19, 2007 at 1:26 am
LOL .. I seriously doubt that
December 19, 2007 at 12:11 am
didnt know about the ms affiliate program.
December 18, 2007 at 11:03 pm
Yes they do –
December 18, 2007 at 11:03 pm
Agreed – MSN could turn into something
December 18, 2007 at 10:59 pm
Ron Paul appears to be choice of many in this election. Glenn Back will find every angle to market his show, he is good.
So question to you Shoe, are you gonna join the Microsoft affiliate program?
December 18, 2007 at 10:14 pm
Good opportunity as many people may not have tried MSN
December 18, 2007 at 10:04 pm
interesting, ms had an affiliate program.
December 18, 2007 at 10:00 pm
It’s good to know MSN has their heads on straight and take advantage of a good opportunity that’s presented itself with your affiliate account. I really hope someone at Yahoo gets their ass chewed over basically handing your account to the competition.
December 18, 2007 at 9:47 pm
Nice to see Microsoft cares about its profit margin.
December 18, 2007 at 8:59 pm
I would like to know if anyone has gotten paid by Microsoft’s affiliate program yet? I still have unverified leads for the Onecare program in my account from June up until November, and I was told all they check for are if it’s a paying ip address, US, etc, and whether it was a duplicate or not, so, you would think it would be easy to tell if my leads were good or not. I’ve pretty much quit promoting them and I never tried the adCenter offer.
December 18, 2007 at 8:54 pm
Microsoft has 1% marketshare here in Japan so I get no traffic from them. But let us know how it goes…
December 18, 2007 at 8:49 pm
I read your comment too quickly at first…. I was like… when did Ron Jeremy decide to run…. LOL —
on a side note the presidential election is like The Dip… if u ain’t the best u might as well quit… cause who the F remembers who michael dukakis, walter mondale, geraldine ferrara etc etc is …. it sad to make it so close and then be a cat sitting in an airport bar talkin about how u ran for presidency back in the 80s
December 18, 2007 at 8:16 pm
= life
December 18, 2007 at 8:11 pm
Thanks so much for the mention Jeremy. That post took me hours and hours to put together, but honestly, it’s one of my favorite posts I’ve ever written! Giving you guys the credit you deserve was a blast!

Oops sorry. Goofed on that link. Here is the right one. Please replace on previous post.

December 18, 2007 at 8:06 pm
Hey Jeremy, about the adCenter Affiliate Program… above you say I have the scoop but there is no link to the info.
I’m helping Microsoft with the new launch and have a full release for anyone that wants to find out more.
her blog post here
Happy to help, if anyone has questions. You can email me or ask questions at the the Microsoft Affiliate forum thread I have set up for support questions.
Thanks, Linda

Jeremy, Ron Paul is right on, on about 90% of the issues. It’s the 10% that leaves the country completely unprotected against our enemies that is worrisome.
December 18, 2007 at 7:36 pm
Congrats on the Microsoft Affiliate Program. Yahoo! can go [profane statement] and then [more profanity]. Ron Paul has his good and bad ideas. I don’t know about taking out most federal programs though. Some regulation is needed to keep people like spammers and fraudulent business practices at bay. It hurts everyone.
December 18, 2007 at 6:47 pm
making a play for the rabid ron paul supporters? makes sense….actually i knew it before i even came to visit today.
December 18, 2007 at 6:18 pm
Long time reader here, and a Paul supporter. Some of us have been unnerving to others.
But Paul would work to end your Fed tax. My AdSense income would be 25% more, instantly!
The MS affiliate network looks boring. Good luck to them to get support from advertisers. Let us know how well it pays.
December 18, 2007 at 5:38 pm
I stumbled upon this a few weeks ago, and while the payout is not disclosed anywhere on the site I have been earning $35 per signup.
When I first found the site I thought it was a joke, couldn’t they even use a .com name? There was no promotion and the login was buggy. Things seem better now, just make sure you send in thee w-9. This has been 700% better than the google adwords affiliate program.

That picture of the CEO of eMom’s @ home looks like she’s about to cry… Bad picture.
