That is exactly what I thought this morning when I saw the email. I was not as blunt as that on my blog though.

This is really too bad, because I actually loved the concept, too bad they couldn’t get it off the ground!

I wonder how all those people who pimped it out HARD feel… just because you slap a new name on a broken concept doesn’t make it work.

Seriously. I don’t care what the hoopla is on blogrush. I can’t imagine how that is not a losing project for reese. He’s got the biggest list in IM, he has the best reputation, and the biggest following….and he delays the main portal part of income.com to push out blogrush….now he’s knee deep in technical issues with blogrush. I’ll never get that.

BlogRush, AuctionAds, ShoppingAds, Widgetbucks, Dealdotcom, MilliondollarWiki (also now on sale)…. what a bunch of crap. Are there really so many suckers out there?

There is only one lasting way to make money out of air online while sleeping: Adsense. Out of air means no resales or content writing. That’s working.

The ones listed above remind me of “The Secret”. The ones who got rich were the authors of the scam , book. Exactly the same for the ones above.

Don’t ever forget the names of it’s creators and keep away from their next revolutionary cutting edge… scam.

I stopped using BlogRush. They bumped me from their list initially since they didn’t like the way I handled the content on the site. After getting it up and running again, I kept getting weird articles that weren’t topic related. It’s a nice idea, but it needs work (and a better looking interface).

A flawed system…which didnt provide the toolbar until very late in its days proved that it was a no goer and especially the way they were going to pay its users as well.

The people that pushed this are guilty of lazy promotion. Even people like David Lawrence and Chris Pirillo were pushing it. It’s just people with a large audience giving credence to crap and expecting blind followers to sign up and make them a few cents.

WidgetBucks is fine on product related content websites, it’s just crap for talking shite bloggers. Then again blogging is a crap way of making money full stop.

Well I’ll be damned, no disclosure from big ol’ Jc on that one and he is usually very up front on the whole getting paid thing. Thanks for the heads up Shoe. Now all the sheep that spent countless hours trying to convinve their friends to sign up must feel like asses.

I hope no one took John Chow’s advice and actually spent money on PPC to get people to sign up for agloco.

why not we all just stop promoting any programs that have pre launch in its business plan. i believe those similar company are using free advertising to built their business and hoping that popularity will attract venture capital. that is their great business plan because a lot people are fooled by them even the top blogger.

Freescammoneymaker - what an insightful comment. All of these businesses are launched around artificial hype with a view to attracting VC funding. Unfortunately it’s not always that easy as we’ve seen in this example.
