True. Branding is important. How effective are t-shirts and other print media for online branding?

I am grieved because I am not in the Pubcon 2007. I hope to travel to USA for the next event… I believe it is a really interesting and amusing event.

I wonder how it is like to be at such an event… must be thrilling! Anyway, I think Jeremy is spot on… Branding is one of the most important marketing essentials, if not the most important out of them all.

Branding is definitely important. During the video the question was asked where to begin. Here’s a spot I found for those needing identity/logo creation. http://www.designcontest.net Spending 150-300 bucks on a design contest at that site or some other design forum might be worth your time if you don’t already have a logo/concept done.

One thing you’ve always stressed is branding SM… just look at the t-shirts!

In my opinion this is something that should come later on in the game… unless you know how to do it right.

I think branding needs to actually start from day one of company being released because “first impressions are everything” and if your product is out on the net then it is essentially availabel to the masses from the second you place it on a website.

Branding is important – but it should be no substitute for highest quality and constant hunger to keep improving the product or service.

Also, branding can turn into a PR nightmare with any scandle

Good info there Shoe. Many bloggers often overlook branding all together and just start posting.

And wow, I thought you got your logo straight from Superman but I sit corrected.

It’s a well known fact that branding is required for any company. It doesn’t matter how small your business is as long as people know you :)

Shoemoney has been drawinig his logo since he was 12 years old. I guess he knew what he wanted to do some time ago.

Having a brand is a major advantage.

Why? You can charge higher prices and instead of being a price taker you can become a price maker like Nike, Addidas etc.

I would say it depends on your audiance and where they are going to be given out.
