I have switched over to affiliate income as my blogs primary source of revenue. Although too early to tell if it has been a good fit for me…time will tell. I did a really ‘far-out’ affiliate push as an experiment…Not to sound ’spammy’ but I am promoting kitty litter on a ‘blogging to make money’ type of blog.
We shall see the results of this little experiment. Good job. I love your site!
Good one. Hey, Which affliate was the one mentioned here got over 4K revenue? We all guessed on your post “Smart Ways To Monetize Your Blog”.. curious to know the post
I like the frame around the video and the video quality. It’s cool to see video getting better and better. Oh yeah, I enjoyed the interview too. Now I want to black Shoemoney shirt.
Nice piece Shoe. I like that you make it clear that you should be posting first and formost and and if there is a affiliate to add to it after the fact, then why not try and earn something too.
The Affiliate Space is still very wide open for bloggers and if you know about a niche then take that info and make a blog full of your hobby info and the affiliate links then become natural and complimentary.
Good precise answers, Jeremy. That was a good interview from her part too. But she seemed star struck, and was blushing. Must have been the Shoe effect.
yaeh, you have not once returned any of my emails!
somehow from the video… you look slimmer.
webpronews constantly have videos if you checked their site. it’s just that recently shoe posting more videos from webpronews.
Hey Shoemoney.
Is this on Itunes podcasts too?

Ah it’s great coverage by Abby
And I love commission junction too!
They have such a huge database of affiliates and their system is great, just great to use
Great interview, and a great reminder to the rest of us to focus on the readers and make monetization a close second place.

nice tips, especially that “money should take a backseat” advice for bloggers. bloggers should hold the monetizing part on the 2nd place
Thats quite interesting.
I like interviews and epically to people and about things I interested in.
Yeah looks pretty dead
Great interview with good precise answers.
doubtful as most of the time there’s a ban on presenters making their slides available.
great interview. a few awkward moments but well done. the convention looks kinda empty. i wonder what the attendance was like.

Huge publicity for you Mr. Schoemaker. Great job as you deserve all this
-Mike
agreed.
Good points here. I just read something similar on Problogger.net about not overdoing the personal salesmanship.
Very nice. Is WebProNews pretty new to the space? I’ve noticed a recent surge in their videos recently.
I’m going to guess by that piece that Abby Prince doesn’t have a broadcasting background. Brutal interviewer.
Your stuff was good though Jeremy. Always useful information!

Good stuff man, but it was pretty s-l-o-w!
Can you please post your presentation in its entirety, to include video if it exists? PLEASE!
