This might be cheating, but what about if we take our name off his RSS, will that work?

John Chow kicks everyone’s ass! HA!

Jeremy, do you think your numbers will significantly plummet when the contest is over? The winner should be whomever has the highest feed score one week after the contest ends. It was a good contest nonetheless. Real showdown.

That seems something Evil

Srsyly for shame Jeremey! You decide one day before hand to ask for help? C’mon bro! I was rooting for you!

6 Mubin October 30, 2007 at 5:19 pm

I think the aim of the contest is to increase both of their subscribers not to decrease one. At the end of the day this is a marketing effort.

Heh :) I guess my prize is one of the grand prizes than eh? sweet.

Wow, your count is 13,600 now. I think he’s still way in front though? anyway, i’m signed up, have been all the time! and I keep entering the comp… never win though :(

Shoe doesn’t seem to be pushing it as much as John…. maybe that’s why shoemoney hasn’t increased much

Reply

13 Yogesh October 30, 2007 at 7:15 pm

It isn’t about the number of subscribers, its about how many these two will gain in a month and this is where John is winning.

Okay, please think about what you just wrote: “The winner should be whomever has the highest feed score one week after the contest ends.” Makes no sense, does it? :D

I have been promoting Shoe all the way on this one. I really dont want Chow to win. But I really want to win a prize more than anything.

No matter what I do i can’t seem to “register” for the daily drawings contest… sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t.

I’m kinda excited to see who wins the grand prizes, perhaps more than I am to see who got more RSS subs.

22 Rulo October 30, 2007 at 11:09 pm

I think that Shoe, having more suscribers to begin with, has only shared his numbers with Chow but non of them have atracted any new users. Maybe that could be the reason for Shoe to not increase his numbers so substantialy.

Check my blog for some nice graph about it. I wonder if you’ll tell how you did that.

A commenter on my blog has suggested shoemoney was showing an old feedburner image instead of the live chicklet to let Johnchow feel like he was winng. I thin this is what happened!

BTW! Way to pull a tortise and the hare type move.
