If you have seen any of the last fights for “the Truth” Vera you would not have put money on Sylvia. You have $$ to blow though, so it is not a big deal.

Ouch. Throw a party for Franklin, bet on Silva. I’d be pissed if I was Rich.

Either Brandon is going to kill Tim, or Tim is going to plod to a 3 round snoozefest decision. I cant wait until Tim’s contract is gone. He is 280 lbs of boring vanilla pudding.

22 Davebo October 19, 2007 at 4:52 pm

I hope franklin wins but it’s hard to bet on him when he got destroyed the last fight…that and the fact that anderson silva seems to have no weaknesses.

It will be interesting with the vera fight….the guy hasn’t exactly fought top talent, but he does appear to be pretty friggin well rounded. That and silvia is a disaster if he’s not fighting on his feet.

Reply

23 the music connect October 19, 2007 at 4:58 pm

silvia is gonna get destroyed by Vera because he is “The Truth”. I am putting in my bets for the events now and having a small party for the fight, will def watch for you more then likely will be on camera some with those seats

When you say “we” are sponsoring, what do you mean – NextPimp, shoemoney.com, belowabuck.com, etc?

Reply

25 Sean Sidelko October 19, 2007 at 5:15 pm

he bet on a -190. so you need to bet 190, to win 100. so if you won that, you would get 290 back. in that first bet case shoe would get back $305, for a net gain of $105. If his second bet won, he would get back $750, for a gain of $450.

good luck Shoe, enjoy the game.

Shoe – in terms of betting, thats some small change. Especially for someone making as much as you do. You should have upped it x10, that’s when your butt cheeks are clinched together when watching.

Good luck man!

Hey Shoe, nice seats! I’m training with the champ, Matt Serra in Toronto tomorrow, I’ll think of you when I’m slapping on a kimura! I’ll post photos of him choking me out on Sunday on my blog!

My money is on Silva and Vera, both by tko. Dark horse picks are Bonnar, Jason MacDonald, and Kalib Starnes.

Have as much fun as the law will allow…

Its funny that you got awesome seats, cosponserd an after party, but only bet 500 buck. 500 bucks to you is like 5 or 10 to the average joe, obviosly the only gamble you make is with websites. Awesome seats, about the only seats I would take over watching it on pay-per-view.

Jeremy, did you develop your love of fights after discovering Bodog or visa versa?
Also, as your wife is a medical practitioner presumably with experience and training in healing wounds, what does she think of your support of the fight industry? Just wondering.

watched it on PPV, what a horrible night. I didn’t really like any of the fights. Although it was funny when one of the fights ended because they saw skull. Not a big UFC fan, at least not enough to remeber the name of the guy who got that big cut on his head. Silva is unstopable. Hey shoe, how was the party, was silva there?

Money well invested :)

So, you have to co-sponsor a party to get the good seats? I never get good seats unless I pay out the nose.
