Not to long again I started this thing called Free Shirt Friday. Maybe you have heard of it. Basically sites and companies send me shirts… I write about them and post a picture of me in a shirt. The idea came about easy enough…. companies/sites want exposure and I love t-shirts. Especially the shirt kind. Well earlier this week I took this picture and thought I would share. Its basically the 48 t-shirts that I have in a box in que for Free shirt friday.

I’m excited to get a shirt done!
October 24, 2007 at 2:16 am
Gotta be a way to get caught up – come on shoe!
October 16, 2007 at 11:08 pm
I’d guess clever shirts or by actually knowing you, or by having a good site that you want to mention. I could be wrong, though.
October 16, 2007 at 11:06 pm
SPAM = Sites Positioned Above Mine, or Shirts Placed Above Mine in this case. All those spammers aren’t giving anyone new a chance.
October 16, 2007 at 11:05 pm
Scary… Jeremy in a translucent shirt. Not that I’d be any better, but still scary.
October 16, 2007 at 11:03 pm
Now I know what happened to the ones I sent… LOL.
Seriously, it seemed like it had died off until I sent one to you. Was that the case?
October 16, 2007 at 2:06 am
Yeah you are going to have to wait for a while……
October 15, 2007 at 2:54 pm
Wow…that’s quite a queue!!!
October 15, 2007 at 7:23 am
I was thinking the same thing
October 14, 2007 at 6:54 am
My thought exactly!
October 14, 2007 at 2:05 am
I guess if I send a shirt I’ll be waiting for a while..
October 13, 2007 at 7:24 pm
Except spam is unwanted – who wouldn’t want free t-shirts? He should worry if he starts getting other articles of clothing unsolicited. That would be spam… like Thong Thursdays or something nasty like that. Filter out all free thongs, but keep all free t-shirts.
October 13, 2007 at 5:17 pm
I’ve sent in 4 tshirts – one of these Fridays…
October 13, 2007 at 7:32 am
You could always send them to me, not that I’ll post about them it’s just that I’m poor!
October 13, 2007 at 6:42 am
So how to get this shirts..??
October 12, 2007 at 4:04 pm
Or may be more because till the time your shirt reaches shoe he will have another 50 added up in the queue
October 12, 2007 at 9:23 am
With lots of t-shirts comes great responsibility. Show has to start reviewing
October 12, 2007 at 7:51 am
You almost need to do free shirt friday every day to catch up.
Maybe do 2-3 shirts on fridays til you catch up
October 12, 2007 at 6:47 am
Jeremy, as someone who appreciates the value of reciprocal links, do you allow those whose shirts you model on your site to post the photo on the shirt ‘donor’s’ site with a link back to Shoemoney?
October 12, 2007 at 3:47 am
If there’s another dotcom bust – perhaps we’ll see you all shuffling around in shoemoney T-shirts!
October 11, 2007 at 11:57 pm
spamming own site is not spam actually
October 11, 2007 at 11:55 pm
he like t-shirts but not sure can he manage 48
October 11, 2007 at 11:44 pm
oh no i was looking to send you our tshirt but looks i have to wait for 48 weeks.
October 11, 2007 at 9:55 pm
you look sad to have those t-shirt
October 11, 2007 at 7:29 pm
Got it, just do a slideshow where you wear each shirt with a link back or a shout out to whoever the person/company is on it, that way you can get them all banged out at once.
October 11, 2007 at 7:28 pm
Hahahaha, shoefolk, that is a really good one. I almost went to ShoeMonet today, typing too fast.
October 11, 2007 at 7:00 pm
Or you could expand the album in your gallery with loyal readers showing off their Shoemoney shirt.
October 11, 2007 at 6:58 pm
How about one day where we all where your shirts, pick a day and we will send you photos wearing your shirt.
October 11, 2007 at 6:57 pm
I was thinking the same thing. Isn’t there some village in Bangladesh that could use all those shirts?
October 11, 2007 at 5:18 pm
LOL I think he needs a tshirt spam filter!
Good one.
October 11, 2007 at 5:10 pm
hey if you need some help, i’ll wear some.
October 11, 2007 at 4:39 pm
haha was thinking about sending you a shirt to put up I didnt know so many people sent shirts weekly.
October 11, 2007 at 4:28 pm
Maybe you could ship a few my way. I could start a “Justin Cook” FSF, that of course no one would even bother reading…
October 11, 2007 at 4:14 pm
I don’t know if T-shirts are considered SPAM though. What is the definition of SPAM? It seems like the label is used for aggressive marketing too…which is bad for SEO guys…
October 11, 2007 at 4:13 pm
THAT IS AWESOME! One of my dreams was to make a homeless foundation in San Francisco but I applaud you for doing such thang. I will stop asking for free shirts. I have too many so I usually send my old shirts to good will anyways.
October 11, 2007 at 3:32 pm
I’ve got it, Shoe! You line up a few of the Shoefolks in a row each Friday for the pic so you can knock out more shirts…say you, Dillsmack, Neil, etc…hehe OK just a thought..;)
October 11, 2007 at 3:28 pm
Getting the mail every day is like Christmas thanks to T-Shirt Friday. The response from all of you has been awesome and we have loved the t-shirts, the fleeces, the drinking glasses and today we got the “pimp cup”. Your response and interest in the blog is really appreciated. The biz manager.
October 11, 2007 at 2:28 pm
Holy CoW!
I need to start a free shirt friday
I would never have to buy clothes again!
October 11, 2007 at 2:03 pm
If you don’t want to break up the acronym you could do Free Shirt February.
October 11, 2007 at 1:58 pm
48 of them you can ave almost 1 for a week wearing and you dont have to use washing machine
October 11, 2007 at 1:08 pm
Nice collection. We should compare some time.
Plus, I’ll be sending you one soon too!
October 11, 2007 at 12:41 pm
You should sell them at Ebay
October 11, 2007 at 11:18 am
Nice facial expression
October 11, 2007 at 11:18 am
No he reviews them on the site.
October 11, 2007 at 11:05 am
SO what are you going to do?
October 11, 2007 at 10:50 am
Maybe you need a few Free Shirt Weekends to eat into that stockpile a little.
October 11, 2007 at 10:33 am
that’s a lot of shirts, hey Jeremy you ever think about having a contest to give away some of the shirts you get?
October 11, 2007 at 10:13 am
Sup guys…. nice shirt box Shoe!
October 11, 2007 at 9:54 am
So do they make the site roughly in the order received or does shirt design count for anything? I would think you’d want to go for the coolest shirts or the best companies, instead of just basing it on time in queue.
October 11, 2007 at 9:38 am
I was thinking the same thing.
Thought Bubble : “Why in hell did I ever start this T-Shirt thing?”
October 11, 2007 at 9:31 am
Thats actually a good idea… I might start doing one friday, saturday, sunday mornings or so until we get caught up
October 11, 2007 at 9:31 am
that was the hidden agenda here
October 11, 2007 at 9:30 am
ya some get priority… guess how
October 11, 2007 at 9:30 am
I keep some and each week I send Susan down to good will for the ones I would never wear
.
October 11, 2007 at 9:19 am
I’ll have one coming your way after I relaunch my other site.
October 11, 2007 at 8:58 am
wow… other 4 shirts and there will be a year waiting time before you will feature it!
i know i had to sent you a t-shirt after i saw you featuring a tee for the first time…
October 11, 2007 at 8:36 am
I love free t-shirts. If I don’t get one when I got to conferences or seminars I’m pissed.
October 11, 2007 at 8:26 am
You don’t look too happy considering you have a BOX of free t shirts !
October 11, 2007 at 7:21 am
That is a lot of tshirts shoe. So, if I sent you one, would it take a whole year for you to wear it? Or do you pick your favourite ones first?
October 11, 2007 at 7:15 am
a translucent shirt with the sm-logo that glows in the dark?
October 11, 2007 at 7:14 am
Oh my… I had no idea the queue is so long
And my shirts are still in the printer’s press, does it still make sense to send you fresh shirts?
October 11, 2007 at 7:12 am
Why don’t you send the shirts to other smaller bloggers, we can take pictures of us wearing them and you can post the picture of us in that shirt along with a link to our site for Free Shirt Friday?
October 11, 2007 at 6:50 am
free T-shirt weekend.
October 11, 2007 at 6:25 am
hahahha t-shirt spam… nice
October 11, 2007 at 6:24 am
That is a LOT of shirts… send some to the donation center after you’re done.
October 11, 2007 at 6:16 am
You should start a different piece of clothing for each day, then you wouldn’t need to purchase clothes again.
October 11, 2007 at 6:04 am
Oh, I think I see my shirt. LoL
Lots of shirts man, how will you ever get through them? You’re going to have to do Free T-Shirt Friday but do 3 at a time.
October 11, 2007 at 5:59 am
That’s pretty clever.
October 11, 2007 at 5:44 am
my shirt is somewhere in there
what a craze u have started… but for the people that send them a tshirt is cheap advertising compared to the exposure.
October 11, 2007 at 5:35 am
What are you gonna do with the box? My kids love a big empty cardboard box!
October 11, 2007 at 4:17 am
yeah, me neither! :p
October 11, 2007 at 3:21 am
May be he re-sell them on ebay? :p Just kidding… But is a good idea no?
October 11, 2007 at 2:20 am
Wait, so is he giving them OUT or no?
October 11, 2007 at 1:38 am
yes, send a “green laser”, it’s really fun…
October 11, 2007 at 1:33 am
Haha, thats a year long waiting list
October 11, 2007 at 12:55 am
So basically you will never have to buy a shirt ever again.
October 11, 2007 at 12:42 am
yeah, but is he givin’ them out?
October 11, 2007 at 12:42 am
Hmm.. you should try sending him a “green laser”
October 11, 2007 at 12:28 am
Diggin the idea. Maybe I’ll give it a shot. Can’t complain about some free shirts!
October 11, 2007 at 12:25 am
Who wouldn’t ? That’s T-shirt SP@M
October 11, 2007 at 12:24 am
Exactly. Unless he starts doing free shirt weekends with 5 shirts a day I don’t see how he can catch up.
October 11, 2007 at 12:10 am
Meaning: stop sending shirts you dumbshits!
October 11, 2007 at 12:09 am
So if we send in a shirt now, it might get posted in September 2008. That’s a big queue.
October 11, 2007 at 12:01 am
lol… You look a little pissed off there.
October 10, 2007 at 11:56 pm
I need to create something that Shoe will wear out… Now, to the drawing board! ^_^
October 10, 2007 at 11:55 pm
I need to create something that Jeremy will wear out so people will talk about it! Now, to the drawing board to come up with something clever… ^_^
October 10, 2007 at 11:50 pm
Ok man… so who does your laundry? That’s just not right. Wear the shirt… stick it in a box? lol Something tells me I see an eBay auction or a garage sale in the near future.
October 10, 2007 at 11:49 pm
Hahahaha well at least they’re ordered in a systematic and orderly fashion!
I mean, we wouldn’t want wrinkles or anything
Hehehe… J/k – That’s a lot of tshits
October 10, 2007 at 11:38 pm
You know what this means, folks. If you send the Shoe a shirt, your post won’t show up for another YEAR. By that time, some of these sites and services that people are trying to promote may not even exist .
October 10, 2007 at 11:18 pm
Are you giving them out???
October 10, 2007 at 11:15 pm
That’s a lot of shirts. What do you do with them all (besides wear them)? lol
October 10, 2007 at 11:09 pm
Wow. A lot of t-shirts. I’ll be sending you one soon enough!
October 10, 2007 at 11:04 pm
I’m trying to come up with a clever design to send one to you, Jeremy!
