Thanx for bringing us stuff that we might not have seen, I signed up and piddled with it but unsure of specifics of what exactly I was doing, so now will check out the help files and then try to do a site.

I’d like to know what his particular value proposition is, why his offering stands out from others. Being in alpha/beta, I’ll bet he has some surprises in line.. where’s the KPOW !

It is not a brand new site, is in online since July 2004 and it has a google page rank of 6 due to the 2500 back links.

so what makes this any better than the other ones out there? Including the one Almighty Google has.
I just signed up for an account. It looks pretty cool so far, but I’ll have to experiment with it a little more to see everything it has to offer.

Vinny is a pretty smart guy, but I have seen this for awhile, and the site still does not make sense. What is the point? Where is the monetization? If I can use Synthasite, why would I not use something else. I don’t get it.

Just signed up. Even for somebody who has been developing for almost 8 years… If you are going to spend the time to use this product, I recommend just learning how to make your own sites from scratch.
Too many people these days are wasting their time learning these other hyped up programs like Dreamweaver and such, when they could spend the same amount of time to learn how to build their own site the real way.
The design, layout, and overall concept is nice. It just needs a little more work. In this case… I have a feeling this site will be relying most on it’s “sexy” 2.0 layout to pull in users.

Well i totally agree with you starfeeder, learning HTML and XHTML was the right way to do things. Along with this post i think it has great presence.
The girl is definitely a model. I used to get gigs like that, like I would get $150/day and it was pretty hot for me. I was super broke at the time and would get anything!

That’s a great idea! So they will host the site and provide the sub domain along with the ease of creating a custom looking site. This does resemble sites like blogger but with more features and tools to create a nice site.

exactly my point… it’s easier to just learn how to do it by hand. Not only is it smarter, but it’s easier when all is said and done.
