I was partying late last night with blog rush creator John Reese last. He is also here in attendance at the tc40 conference. He had to abruptly leave this morning as he felt he just had to be there at home for blogrush. Even though he had a very competent staff in place they had some many new users (I think the number was like 15,000) the first day…. something crazy.
Anyway here are our stats. We are doing ok I think. Remember as of october 1st your code will be getting credit for my impressions if you signed up here.

I found it useless also

I removed BlogRush today after finding it was only #14 on my list of referrals – not worth the cost in real estate and sacrifice on my blog’s design, if you ask me.

I was not impressed with blogrush – click through traffic is poor in my opinion.
September 28, 2007 at 5:46 pm
Thanks for the tip.
I just signed up today using Shoemoney reff id.
September 27, 2007 at 2:30 pm
PS: Did you know you can change the color of the blogrush ? Go login and click on flavos
September 27, 2007 at 2:29 pm
I am about the same rate as you are and got only little bit under 100 clicks, I hate their excuses and everyone is like rushing into that blog rush i just dont know why?
September 24, 2007 at 11:21 am
I have had this up on my blog for quite sometime now but havent received much traffic.
Not sure if this will really for niche markets.
September 23, 2007 at 12:28 am
Whats your CTC? I haven’t recieved much traffic from it
September 22, 2007 at 1:57 pm
It sounds like the Big Bang that created the Universe, are we at that level? is blogging going to take a new turn with BlogRush?
September 20, 2007 at 10:44 pm
same here
September 20, 2007 at 12:32 pm
What i am really worried about is losing credibility in this. Well i shall see what blogrush can deliver.
September 20, 2007 at 7:02 am
Could you share what your click through rate is like? It is hardly surprising you have tons of people signing up under you since you’re a top blogger with over 10k readers.
September 20, 2007 at 4:47 am
Loosing credibiilty with spammy links?
It may be too early to tell if this is any cause for concern. The company mentioned openly that they will deploy both human and machine methods to fight spams. Therefore chances of loosing credibility in our blog if the widget displays spammy sites are slim, perhaps?
September 20, 2007 at 4:44 am
Only the “BIG guys” will benefit from BlogRush.
This is about “The rich getting richer%u2026″ mindset, a very common opinion read in many commenters to BlogRush reviews. The thinking is that since the heavy hitters will earn TONS of credits from giving impressions AND gaining referrals, most widgets will be flooded with their posts then! How true is this, we’ll have to see how BlogRush response.

September 19, 2007 at 7:57 pm
You are getting better numbers than John Chow does.
September 19, 2007 at 4:37 pm
Nice stats! I found a neat trick to get 4.5 times more traffic than usual and posted it on my blog

September 19, 2007 at 2:03 pm
I still cannot see my stats. Very bad
September 19, 2007 at 1:53 pm
Yeah I just started my blog like a week ago and I signed up for BlogRush under your blog. I really am seeing a bump in my visitors thanks to this widget. Thanks to Shoemoney and John Reese for getting me to use BlogRush.
September 19, 2007 at 1:34 pm
Only a matter of time till the adsense spam blogs surfaced.
Any quality control measures going to be enforced? Or is this a free for all?
September 19, 2007 at 1:27 pm
Nicely done. Hope it sends you some new visitors.
September 19, 2007 at 1:01 pm
The numbers Im seeing from everyone arent looking good, I dont know how BR determines serves but everyone now has a large amount of credits that arent being served. Too make matters worse there are blogs like problogger that have tons of credits to get their content served and yet they arent actually contributing impressions to the network because its all referall credit. The serving algorithm works because smaller blogs like mine are still getting impressions and clicks, the above is more of a long term possible problem
September 19, 2007 at 12:42 pm
Shoemoney’s changing everyting he touches in to gold.
Did I mention my forum
September 19, 2007 at 12:36 pm
I wonder how long will this widget work. Soon after spammers find some exploits to do the taking.

September 19, 2007 at 12:05 pm
I’ve been noticing the effects of it already with my site. Good stuff!
September 19, 2007 at 11:43 am
MIght have to give this a try.
September 19, 2007 at 11:09 am
That’s my understanding.
Vic
September 19, 2007 at 11:02 am
I can’t tell how many (if any) visitors I’m getting from it. Would the referral show as being from blogrush?
September 19, 2007 at 10:49 am
HEY JEREMY – Since you are friends with John, could you please ask him to fix this. Several of us have blogged and forum posted about it and it should be a quick easy fix!
FOR INSTANCE right now here on ShoeMoney, where BR should be it says:
“We are currently experiencing some technical issues and the site will be back online shortly. Please come back in a few minutes.”
The error message does not even mention BR so a regular visitor not in the know would think it was a problem on your site. It makes it sound like your (our) site is having problems and tells visitors to go away and come back later. NOT COOL!
The place holder needs to either be empty or say “BlogRush is so rushed with traffic it crashed. Back soon!” or something…
Thanks, Linda
September 19, 2007 at 10:47 am
Whatever. I’m taking it off my site. I haven’t seen a single visit due to having the widget installed according to my logs.
Vic
September 19, 2007 at 10:30 am
Looks like blog rush got too big too fast. I get the “technical difficulties” message when trying to visit their site. Thats probably why he had tto rush home.
September 19, 2007 at 10:29 am
The idea is great, the results? terrible. Problogger = 70,000 impressions = 35 clicks. Awful CTR.
September 19, 2007 at 10:08 am
I thought my 111k crdit balance was l33t. Now I’m humbled to see 600+ referrers and probably 1 million balance.
Nice Jeremy
September 19, 2007 at 9:58 am
I’ve been looking at my logs not blogrush stats and I’m seeing some sweet traffic.
September 19, 2007 at 9:34 am
How many clicks? That’s what matters here.
September 19, 2007 at 9:24 am
Whoa.. it bang your blog..
I dont know how its effect my blog.. but i’m afraid it not effect much..
i think i wait a week before look at the stats..
He he he
September 19, 2007 at 9:11 am
Jeremy, it looks like you’re seeing the same problem as me. Lots of earn credits but they are just sitting there. BlogRush has only been able to serve around 10% of the syndication credits I have earned. I’m also curious to see your CTR, mine was 0.0017%.
September 19, 2007 at 8:28 am
I signed up via your ref link also
hopefully the CTR for blogrush improves…
September 19, 2007 at 8:11 am
That’s amazing. Here I thought I posted pretty quick about this but the rich get richer don’t they. I need 600 referrals under me. WoW that is very impressive.
September 19, 2007 at 8:07 am
Blog rush is really great program ,which actually works. We installed it on first day and is getting decent traffic from there network.
September 19, 2007 at 8:05 am
Ok, ok. I’ll sign up. Let me get this party over this coming weekend and I’ll add it.
September 19, 2007 at 7:27 am
Dang that’s a ton of people…
September 19, 2007 at 7:21 am
You didnt mention your CTR, which I assume is something like .00001% like everyone else.
September 19, 2007 at 6:55 am
Darn, makes my credit balance of 6 look puny, guess I should put it on a blog that I use more often.
September 19, 2007 at 6:47 am
John has published his stats, now showmoney. I am still waiting for dohdosh to publish his stat.
September 19, 2007 at 6:34 am
How has your impressions vs click through rate been? How has the blogrush traffic vs other traffic sources been? Mine has been awful
September 19, 2007 at 6:08 am
You got 600 refferal lest than 4 days. It was great.
September 19, 2007 at 5:24 am
That’s a great number. I signed up under your account. Let’s see what happens here…
September 19, 2007 at 4:59 am
how come??? nice jobs
September 19, 2007 at 4:27 am
That’s crazy. I already signed up before I saw your post on joining up under you. If I join up now with a different account under you will I still get rotated?
September 19, 2007 at 3:57 am
WTF!!! I cant wait to get some of that love since i joined with your ref link.
September 19, 2007 at 3:51 am
Dang, 600 is aight!
September 19, 2007 at 3:26 am
Wow, that is a lot of syndication credits earned. I don’t know if it’s just me though, but this is the first time that I’ve heard about this blog rush thing. I’ve checked the blog rush site out and it looks very interesting and it also looks like it will go somewhere.
