Anyone running WP should update asap, it’s nice that this time the update didn’t happen immediately after the main release was put out there :)

So much for 1 click install from mediatemple. “Version 2.2.1″

Manual upgrades suck.

They needed it – check out the changelog. There was a but that allowed users to post html when they shouldn’t (eg. javascript that redirects and nasty cookie-stealing code!). Could’ve been a big issue for hosted wordpress.com! :/

Honestly, who cares about a small insignificant WP update.

Last time I upgraded — I lost all my theme’s configurations (it was not “supposed” to reset them), so this time I will be wiser and back up not only the database, but also the layout with all the modifications. And, I strongly recommend it to everyone too! :)
