Anyone Watch Big Love On HBO ?

by Jeremy Schoemaker on July 31, 2007 · 63 comments

I thought the season finale last night of Big Love was off the hook? Anyone else watch it? Actually I am not sure it is the season finale

BTW when does Lost start again already!

I will be in Minneapolis, MN at our datacenter for the next few days so no radio show and possible slow postings.. although its amazing I can bust out 2-3 super quality posts in a 1 hour flight sometimes.

Shoe, you think Roman is really dead? You know the Green’s aren’t gone for good. It was pretty intense episode for having four left in the season.

My wife and I have caught every episode and are quite hooked. It’s a good show with likable characters and the plot lines are interesting.

How do you find time to watch all of this tv? I don’t have half of the stuff going on that you do and I might sneak in an hour before bed.

Unfortunately LOST isn’t coming back until January 2008

Not something I would have thought I would have liked but I myself am hooked on Big Love. I look at it this way. I get my good wholesome family love for an hour before diving into the playboy world of Vince in Entourage every Sunday :)

It did have a dramatic ending like a season finale but I think there are 3 or 4 more left. Can’t wait.

I tried to get into this show the first season. I even gave a few episodes a try this season and I just cannot do it. Now, Flight of The Conchords…that’s my shit. Those guys are hilarious!

How about the ending of the last Entourage? Pretty hilarious if you ask me :)

I believe that the final two episodes are going to be moved to Sunday; Big Love got much bigger ratings on Sundays. It was picked up for another season, though. (I haven’t watched last night’s yet – Thank God for On Demand)

Big Love is awesome – I hope others were watching it too! With all the rivalries and factions it is turning into the new Sopranos.

Highly recommended.

Hey, speaking of Lost. You can get great info on the day after at my friends video blog. http://www.tvsquad.com/category/tv-squad-daily/

Check her out when Lost gets back on or everyday anyway.

Yeha, I think Big Love has been much more intense, stragely ever since the Sopranos went off the air. But, no matter how incredibly, devastatingly, smoking hot Margene is, I wouldnt have three wives for all the money in the world…

PS no way is roman dead

dammit, i needed a spoiler alert. my wife records it on the dvr and we tend to watch it later in the week as time becomes available… but the show rocks. haven’t seen this new episode yet though, so all i’ll do is skip reading everything beyond the “think roman is dead” line…

I thought it was the finale as well. But there are four more episodes!

Anyone see the similarities not to The Sopranos, but to the Godfather saga? Bill is almost a Michael character (Joey could be Fredo) – he wants to ‘get out’ and go legit (live in the open with the gambling business) but they keep ‘pulling him back in’. Furthermore, like Michael, he puts his family in danger, and I can see a tragic ending for one them (Sister wife? Joey? Sara or Ben?).

Big Love episode last night was definitely a trip. My wife got me hooked on the show. When that dude woke up to 3 wives with their arms crossed I couldn’t help but LOL. Also with that Roman guy, seriously what was he thinking walking around without some security after engaging those other freaks?

Definitely looks like the action level on the show might ramp up a bit. (violence AND what was up with the voyeur scene – hello)

type-atcha-later,
Sean

t’wasn’t the finale, but last episode rocked, aye.

spoiler alert / prediction attempt: margie and ben are going to hook up. he’s newly ordained, normally frisky and without his former gf. she’s normally frisky, maintaining solidarity with sister wives to give no nookie to bill. it’s perfect.

Big Love is great, and there are something like 3 episodes left in this season.

I think Roman is still alive, and his son is using him as some sort of pawn against Bill.

We shall see!

I canceled HBO after The Sopranos ended. The only other HBO show that I watch is OZ (have the entire series).

What data center do you use here in MN?

I’m pumped about Lost coming back. I thought last year was the best yet, even though some disagree. I’m glad the writers have a plan with LOST as well. There is an end in site so the story will be better written.

Yup caught Big Love. Margie is such the love toy. Nicki is jealous wants to be the love toy and 1st wife. And I wonder how much longer Barb is gonna want to be married to Bill. And Ben – Bill and Barb’s oldest is getting pulled in and probably will carry on with Bills newest business venture with the Indian gambling. What do you think?

I dont think Roman will die. He is gonna live to get back at Bill for the ATF/FBI and Greene incident.

BTW – Bills crazy parents are just sooooooo out there. Lois/Bills mother who is like the 3rd or 4th wife was willing to do a certain act with her husband to get her $22k/grand back from her money laundering business. To bad she lost her real laundry mat.

I love Big Love – Despite having a busy schedule, me and my boyfriend always make time to watch it every week. I haven’t seen last nights episode yet but I cannot wait to see it.

As for Lost – I think it comes out again in December around the time when the Season 3 box set is going to be released.

There is nearly no content, nothing interesting in some of your last traffic related posts. Sorry, when my comment seems to be not very friendly – maybe it’s because of my ‘different-language-problem’.
