That’s like salesmanship 101. Goes to show that no matter what industry you’re in, the same basic rules still apply.

I was never thinking about business or marketing while spending time with strippers. Not that I’ve spent that much time with them though. You can learn something from anyone if you are open to it. I learned that a good stripper can pick up a dollar bill with her butt.

I always wonder what happens to strippers when they are all used up and old? What do they do then? I doubt they have the forethought to invest for the future.
[Reply]
A good stripper picks dollars up with her butt, a great one takes them off of your nose with her butt.

Did this ever need any proof?

Strippers are in the front lines of sales and marketing everyday (err, every night?). They know their “product” and they know their customers a whole lot — a trait that’s quintessential in making a successful sale. Very good post LOL the obvious analogy makes a lot of sense.
[Reply]
Probably some people refuse to think that sex sells more than anything else, that’s why they find the need to be convinced every single time.
[Reply]
LOL that was a good one; hitting the clubs for “research” and some educational value.
[Reply]
I certainly can’t say no to a stripper.

This is a fantastic article putting a sometimes difficult concept into a context that most people can understand. A lot can be learned about presentations and public speaking from this article.
And you’re right, excellent link bait.

I agree no matter where a sale is a sale and a buyer is a buyer just different products.
[Reply]
Haha good point. I guess they were just “born” with it.
