CAN'T CANCEL MIVA!

Beware of Miva. They make canceling an account impossible.

I tried to cancel my account over three months ago. There is no way to cancel on their web site. They say you have to call them and then fax the cancellation to them. But, there is no follow up to the fax.

No one at MIVA has replied to my numerous e-mails to their "support" desk. They are still charging my credit card each month.

Miva = Fraud. This is simply the worst and most unorganized company you could ever deal with. Their traffic was complete bogus; they all looked fake. When I brought this to their attention and let them know that we have a sophisticated system that records everything, I did not hear back from them. I requested a refund, and nobody ever bothered to get back. They kept saying that I needed to contact a different department, so I did. That department said they would get back to me in a few days. It's been 3 WEEKS and I'm still chasing after my money with NO RESPONSES FROM MIVA.

Miva customer service is simply the worst customer service I have ever come across. Their phone transfers to India and if you dare to ask for your money back, they simply give you an e-mail address. When I called them back to see why they have not gotten back to me, the rep simply said someone will get back to me and nobody ever responded back.

MIVA IS COMPLETE RIP OFF AND A SCAM. DON'T FALL FOR THEM. THEY'RE FRAUD.

Sorry, engaged, I don't work for MIVA. In my market, when each click conversion can result in a job worth $500 or more, I wanted search traffic that converted better than AdWords. I found it through MIVA.

We all know that not every click will convert. That's why it's important to find the traffic that does convert and at the lowest per click rate.

MIVA tends to be on networks that get more local targeted clicks than does AdWords in my market. Comparing my stats between AdWords, Overture and MIVA, MIVA wins in sending the highest converting clicks in my market for the least amount of money...not necessarily the highest amount of traffic. (Looksmart actually works well for us also) You have to know how to use the network tools and know how your local traffic searches the web when they need a local company.

I used Miva in the past with little success. It felt like click fraud to me so I cancelled after a two month campaign.
