Sorry I wont be posting much this week. If I was a real blogger I would have done things like schedule posts and get guest bloggers but … alas… I fail.
So do you want to write a guest post on shoemoney.com ? Email me what your favorite pay per click engine is and reasons why. I will post a few entry a day over the next few days. Also please include a picture of yourself and a link to your site (both are optional).
So get typing and send them in now! I will start posting them tomorrow.

What a great idea. Now I’ll have to dust off the PPC side of my brain to see what I can come up with!

I wrote up a post regarding using PPC for retail. Hopefully I’ll see it up here!

It should include my site or my blog? I think most popular still Google, no doubt !

Nice Idea Jeremy.

cool way to get new content and some link love.

Rather than have guest bloggers, this is actually a better idea–get your blogging community involved by asking questions and posting the best ones. It may be easier for you, but I can imagine that you’re probably going to get a lot of good responses from this question. In fact, you probably could go ahead and make this a weekly feature, it’s probably going to be a time-saver for you, too. Friday you have the “send me a tshirt” thing, perhaps you could ask a question once a week, say on Tuesday or Wednesday and publish the best ones…just a thought.

Agreed.

Having guest bloggers is a great idea, Shoe. Use them sparingly though — we’d rather read your stuff 99% of the time.
June 12, 2007 at 9:14 am
It would be interesting to see who Shoe picks as guest authors.

I would switch to Wealth Base Camp…. I like what you have going on over there

I’ll drive the hummer around to give it some exercise…
June 12, 2007 at 7:41 am
Yeah, I rather have nothing for a few days than you just post stuff to post.
June 12, 2007 at 7:41 am
It is definitely the auto-pilot if you want it.
June 12, 2007 at 7:35 am
And I’ll manager you ads for you.
June 12, 2007 at 7:34 am
Great effort of the kissup.
June 12, 2007 at 7:05 am
I agree. But he doesn’t have guest bloggers very often, and it’s better than nothing
.
June 12, 2007 at 4:02 am
Agreed, but being the most popular says a lot about its quality. I have a few sites where I use adsense and could probably make a little more with another program, but Adsense is so easy/reliable/trustworthy I stick with it.
June 12, 2007 at 3:56 am
Honestly I’m glad you don’t have a guest blogger. I come here to read Shoemoney’s posts, not anyone else’s.

ritchie, maybe if AuctionAds was PPC you could get away with sucking up … =0p
June 12, 2007 at 2:51 am
What a question
Of course it’s Auctionads!!!

Actually, I am completely disillusioned by all of the big guys at the moment. The amount of click fraud out there, and the complete lack of control that the se’s have over it, is making it way too costly to find the sweet spot anymore.
The crap traffic I used to get from 7search years ago was better than what Google and Yahoo have delivered for me lately. So sad.
June 12, 2007 at 12:03 am
Google of course… Google continually keeps me updated on various ways to reach my market whether its new sites, vertical research. Adwords innovations such as Adwords editor and a variety of reports. Interface design is very intuitive and easy to use. Last but not least is ROI. I get great ROI whether its from conversion or impression based perspective.
June 11, 2007 at 11:09 pm
I submitted my entry. I hope I win. ;P
June 11, 2007 at 10:58 pm
Adsense isn’t necessarly the best, only the most popular.
June 11, 2007 at 10:26 pm
Google Adsense is my favorite PPC system. The reason is simple. They have the ad inventory to match nearly any niche. This translates into more variety of ads and thus, more clicks. Google Adsense has the marketing power to sustain and I know of no competitor PPC system that is as easy to implement even for those new to the internet game. Their customer service was an area they were once lacking but it is now improving.

Im gonna say it out here hehe, Adsense all the way, it is now supporting publishers and even the slight concern towards publisher protection
June 11, 2007 at 10:03 pm
Just give me your password and I will take over while your gone
June 11, 2007 at 9:48 pm
Great idea…. make the readers write for you… not only do they come back to see if their post was up, but they probably tell their friends when their site gets featured
Brilliant Jeremy!
