Its pretty obvious people like full feeds better so full posts are in feeds again
Hi I am Jeremy Schoemaker and ShoeMoney.com is my blog. 99% of the post here are done by me but you will see others occasionally make guest posts. This blog is fun to write but for my day job I run several online companies.

Thanks shoe!

Not many sites get that much feedback and can make such huge changes that fast.
May 28, 2007 at 7:23 pm
full feeds are always nice to get
May 28, 2007 at 3:15 pm
Good move. I switched to full feeds at the beginning of the year and haven’t regretted it.
May 28, 2007 at 9:02 am
It has been confirmed by several blog owners that profits actually went up due to full feeds and not the opposite. You should know the results soon enough!
May 28, 2007 at 8:07 am
full post is better ^^
hey why u dont use google adsense any more?
May 28, 2007 at 6:30 am
Thanks for going with the full text feeds.
May 28, 2007 at 4:09 am
I wasn’t able to place my vote, but I’m all for full feeds. Like Ali, I make it a point to read comments, too — icing on the cake.
May 28, 2007 at 3:43 am
Thanks! Good choice!
May 28, 2007 at 3:28 am
I agree. The point of having RSS feeds is to be able to stay updated without having to visit individual websites. Partial feed kind of defeats the purpose of having RSS itself.
With full feeds all I need to do is click on Feed option from the menu and I get the full post right in my browser (I use Opera).
May 28, 2007 at 2:31 am
I mostly visit the sites that I subscribe too, to read the comments. Full feeds or not. Though not having a full feed gives me a lesser incentive to visit the site, which ultimately makes me unsubscribe. Unless it’s a company blog.
May 28, 2007 at 2:15 am
Thank God! I was about to unsubscribe. I hate crap, when a site does that, I tend to visit the site rather then monitor it in RSS. But I tend to forget about the site. So the Full Feed keeps me coming back.
May 28, 2007 at 12:26 am
and this one line post, i thought it’s still a partial feed. or it is?
May 27, 2007 at 11:56 pm
EXCELLENT! I read my feeds using Google Reader on my phone and not having to click thru to ur site means I get to read a LOT more of your posts… Thanx!
May 27, 2007 at 11:51 pm
someone should make a partial feed rss raping proxy, for all those sites who don’t publish full feeds.
May 27, 2007 at 10:47 pm
Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed me
May 27, 2007 at 9:52 pm
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Partial feeds are one of my biggest pet peeves.
May 27, 2007 at 9:47 pm
Thanks for asking, and thanks for listening.
May 27, 2007 at 9:31 pm
Full feeds are good. Way to go.
May 27, 2007 at 9:21 pm
Can’t you just give us the option because this is the most active feed I subscribe to and I liked partial.
May 27, 2007 at 7:28 pm
The right choice. I’ve long sat on the other side because I know the issues full feeds cause in terms of copy issues but strictly from a users viewpoint it’s difficult to keep up at the best of times, this way you might lose a few page views but you’ll be delivering your posts and message to a broader audience.
May 27, 2007 at 6:55 pm
I do not understand why I like full feeds. Honestly I never read the feeds I just use it as a way to update me that a post had been posted then I open the feed and go to the site.
May 27, 2007 at 6:33 pm
I also prefer coming to the site, and as a blogger I would prefer people came to the site also.
May 27, 2007 at 6:00 pm
Great. Thanks Jeremy its lots faster to view feeds especially at my work where the internet is very slow.
May 27, 2007 at 5:54 pm
Glad full feeds won. Thanks Jeremy!
May 27, 2007 at 5:42 pm
Me too… I wonder if you’ll notice less $ from ads overall.
May 27, 2007 at 5:22 pm
I’ve really never had a problem with the feed because most of my readers are more visual anyway!
May 27, 2007 at 5:05 pm
i think full feeds are the prefered way, but you could also offer both and let your subscribers deside!
May 27, 2007 at 4:31 pm
w00t, awesome
May 27, 2007 at 4:12 pm
btw – if you pose the question like you did, nobody’s gonna answer it with yes I guess… fulltext feeds are so much more comfortable!
May 27, 2007 at 4:11 pm
I agree to the fullest!
May 27, 2007 at 3:48 pm
Thanks, the short Feeds were really starting to annoy me. Reading all my Feeds in my Reader is much quicker and easier than having to go to the Blog to actually read the whole post.
May 27, 2007 at 3:47 pm
That’s what we are talkin’ about. Thanks Jeremy
May 27, 2007 at 2:57 pm
Thanks!!

Let’s face it, you’ve got more subscribers than me, but the story is the same: my subscribers like full-fat feeds as opposed to the lite edition.
Assuming you’re on del.icio.us, what are the numbers like for your bookmarks?
People seem to luv follow in my footsteps, which is good, because it’s almost like a heads-up on what topics I’m going to be writing about next…
May 27, 2007 at 2:39 pm
Hallelujah!
May 27, 2007 at 2:36 pm
I personally just prefer coming to the site.
May 27, 2007 at 2:10 pm
Joy!
