Full feeds are great. We went back and forth on that for a while, but overall it's a good thing.

What matters is what your readers want. Some people want RSS, so you either give them full or they stop reading your stuff. Some want email subscriptions, so you give them that.

Many people are concerned about "spam blogs" sucking your content. But as long as you are Google spidered frequently (read: post often) and thus get Google primary content, life is good.

AND deep-linking to your site within your posts (with FULL URL, not relative path) get you free backlinks from non-sanctioned rss-sucking sites.

Have an awesome day!

I never thought about it until I read a post a couple weeks ago that said people prefer full feeds. So I promptly went and changed all of mine.

Good poll, I'd never thought the ratio would have been that wide.

I prefer the full feeds. The partial feeds force me to go to the site, but if it doesn't look real interesting (present company excluded, of course) I won't go there and skip on to the next post.
