If there is a rev pimpdaddy of making money online its John Reese. John interviewed me recently. I originally met John at Ad:Tech San Francisco and we hit it off right away. Its cool when you meet other people that really “get it”. John Recently launched Income.com and wanted to interview me about various ways to make money (other then adsense specifically) and also that lead into talking about AuctionAds. Well the scheduled 30 min interview turned into almost 2 hours!! I have to say this was one of the most amazing interviews I have ever given and not really because of me, but more because of John Reese’s background and his deep knowledge of the industry he knew when to stop and amplify points I was trying to make.

I happened to listen to the interview. Very informative.
At times I wonder at the power of internet. Earlier, if we were to hear two great minds talking and discussing, we had to sacrifice a fortune. But internet has made such interviews so much accessible that you can only gaze with awe at the power of the Internet.
Again when such two great minds are talking and you get a chance to just listen to them, you will learn a thing or, two even if you don’t take notes. Listen to it the second time and you will learn something that you did not get a chance to concentrate on the first time you heard it.
So I would want to listen to it at least 10 times and digest it.

Obviously John Reese does incredibly well for himself, and as I explore this whole world of business marketers like him I wonder how come these guys aren’t more mainstream. I am not implying anything by that question, I am genuinely curious. Is there a benefit to being more under the radar? I know that Timothy Ferriss preferred the approach of going mainstream with his book launch as opposed to selling it as an ebook or some other form, and Steve Pavlina recently did the same with his book even though they said they could probably do better in terms of $$$ if they had done otherwise. What are your thoughts on this Jeremy???

This is a great interview and very informative. I found a lot of what you talked about is very useful information. Everyone should take notes when you are ever being interview and put to use what you have to say. I wonder if we’ll ever be seeing you in the future on those late night infomercials selling your knowledge to the masses.

I think it’s other sites he’s making Adsense money from. This one is mainly monetised by paid avertising as far as I’m aware.

I joined a new affiliate network a couple days ago and was working on writing an email to my aff manager when the interview hit how to write it, so it helped me in real time. Tons of good info.
Thats an insane amount of money.

Great interview with John Reese (the king of all online marketing). I was very impressed with the information you two were exchanging on topics outside of your AuctionAds network. BTW- I will be signing up today.
I do have one question for you that I would love to hear you shed some light on, that was brought up in the interview. That is the art of selling advertising space on your sites. I found that portion of the interview to be very intriguing.
Do you cold call some of your prospects and ask if they would like to run a sponsorship on your site or do you just email them? How do you approach this?

When you said Auction Ads paid a publisher $4300 for a single eBay lead, I got goose bumps. I really went nuts when you said the publisher’s site gets only 100 uniques a day. Wow…that’s just amazing.
