Save The Cheerleader Save The World – Heroes Rocks

Posted May 7th, 2007 by Jeremy Schoemaker

So a bunch of my friends told me about Heroes and how cool it was. I gave it a chance at the beginning of the show but it was just sooooo slow… well since I was traveling so much recently I purchased the season package from itunes so I could watch it in airports and on planes and I just got caught up 2 weeks. I think about 15 episodes in it really starts to KICK ASS. As of last night I am totally up to date and ready for tonights episode.

BuddyTV has a exclusive interview with the dude who plays Sylar here.

Anyway I am super pumped for tonights episode!

My wife thought I was nuts when I told her we had to watch this new show coming out about people with super powers. Of course, we are both hooked on the show now and can’t wait for Mondays just so we can watch Heroes.

I wonder when they start the show in Europe… I’m hearing only good things about it – lookin’ forward!

Heroes is my favorite show as well. I have been hooked since the first couple of episodes. The creators of Heroes had ties with LOST (they worked on it) and they have said that they don’t want to make it like LOST. They want you to get answers and resolve some of the storylines quicker than LOST does. I think they are on the right track.

I _LOVE_ heroes. Haven’t been keeping up since the break, because my Fiancee wants to catch up and then watch it with me. I can’t wait to pick it back up again though :)

I have to admit, being a guy, that the show rocks. I have watched the show from the first episode, which I turned on by accident. Now, I actually find myself wanting more as soon as the episode ends. My wife and I both say, about half way thru Mondays, “You know what today is!”. I know, were geeks. Heros and Lost, I can’t get enough of either one.

It took quite some time to take off… imho the last two episodes were the best so far. I’m really looking forward to the finish of the first season now.

I’ve been watching from the start and got hooked right away. I generall watch it when it’s actually on, although I have my computer record it on Media Center just to be sure. And I am another one of those who has been trying to not get hooked on too many shows. Too many better things I can do with my time, but I just can’t resist with Heroes.

At first, when I saw all the previews and trailers for it. Heroes looked like a total rip off of X-Men and still bitter they canceled Surface for this, I didn’t watch it. It wasn’t until I saw a couple trailers for the “Save the Cheerleader, Save the world” episode that I downloaded them and caught up on them when I was sick of thanksgiving week. I’ve been hooked since.

Heroes is way better then Lost or 24 this season. Its been about the only of TV I’ve actually sat down and watched all year.

But there are only 2 more episodes left :(

Yup, episode 17 Company Man was incredible. It was the most engaging TV episode I’ve seen too. So much seemed to happen in that hour. Anyway, Heroes come on a few weeks late in my country but I’ve downloaded most everything off p2p. I’m about 100mb on episode 21 now. :)

I started watching when it premiered but stopped because it conflicted with 24 (yea yea, I need a DVR or watch it online)… maybe it’s time to go back and watch the episodes i missed.

Lost and heroes are a revulation on tv shows.Shoe dont watch all episodes in a short time like me do :/ ( 18 episodes in one day) or you will feel sick for waiting next week to watch next episode and you ll feel its sloww.

Oh and if one day anyone see Nakamuro or Petrelli on the island dont be surprised ;)

Really? I thought they were renewing it!! A new cast + new plot would be fun but probably would only give it a 2nd season a 3rd MAX before it got boring… then again look at “Friends” :/

I got hooked seeing it infact. Took me 2 days to complete to view up to episode 20!! haha. i mean it has underlying ‘attraction’ factor to it, like the heroes are the most unlikeliest sorts, like us!!

other than heroes, you should see battlestar galactica too mate!

I’ve been hooked since the start. And yes, the start was quite slow but lately things have been crazy. I can’t wait for tonight’s episode (I’m in Hawaii).

After waiting for months after the first season of Heroes was over, I was disappointed with the first episode of the 2nd season. But once the season got under way I’ve really liked it. Heroes, Lost, and 24 are all the same for me. When the hour is up, I want more. Please, don’t be over yet. Show me more!

Love Heroes. Loved it from the beginning. Loved tonite’s episode, and completely ready for next week.

I am also an American Idol fan, and I like The Unit and 24. I could pretty much live without anything else…although I leave the tube on while I work, so I catch a little of other things. But I finally shut off CSI: Miami. Pretty cast, pretty settings, pretty lighting…but the scripts are lame, and I just can’t take David Caruso.

Wow… the double post thing is weird. The first one didn’t show up (must have been held for moderation or something).

Anyway, the two shows aren’t like each other at all. Quite different, but both very good. Heroes builds all season, while Supernatural could really be understood (for the most part) by joining at any point. Besides, one is super powers, the other is urban legends.

I try and stay away from these popular shows so I dont get hooked on them. There are so many good series that I could easily spend more time watching tv then working on my sites.

You might want to check out the new Dr. Who. In fact the guy who played Claude the invisible man in Heroes (Chris Eccleston), played the 9th doctor.

I’ve heard the writer’s attempted to pay homage to Star Wars by making the colors of Peter’s & Skylar’s powers, like Luke & Darth Vader (red & blue). They also paid tribute to Matrix by making Peter’s outfit look similar to Neo.

Another show that’s a must see is How I Met Your Mother. . . f’n hilarious!

Heroes is my favorite hour of TV, hands down. I too that it started slow, but I know really appreciate the character development time. So often shows with superheroes skip through the orgins sections of the heroes/villans so quickly, you feel that the story was lacking. Instead, Heroes is really taking the time to develop the possibilities. The best thing about it is it seems to have a really solid fan base, so I believe we are going to have a solid run of an kick ass show.

I don’t watch too much TV, but I am a HUGE Heroes fan. I actually loved the show from the first episode on.

I really hope they don’t go the way of LOST and continually make the story more complicated without any real answers…

It started slow, but every episode has been better than the previous one. However, my favorite was still “company man”. It might possibly have been my favorite hour of tv, ever.

I can’t believe you found it slow!!! It was love at first sight for me. And for those of you who don’t make a self-sufficient living yet you probably will appreciate “The Office” too. They’re my two favorites. Those of you who make money without a boss… well, let’s just say that show will make you happy you don’t have one ;)

Heroes is totally great. But you really need to have the story from the start. Like Prison Break and Drive (which unfortunately got cancelled) this tv show continuous on the same story episode after episode unlike sitcoms.

Last episode was probably the hardest to understand to a newcomer, but for me it was awsome.

Looking forward to the new episode

The beginning of the show was a bit slow but I think it laid the groundwork very well for the later part of the season. This show is definitely in my top three along with LOST, and House.

Heroes rocks. We DVR’d the show for a long time before watching and got to see about 10 episodes in a row. Now we’re all caught up and waiting anxiously week by week. I can’t wait for the all out Syler / Peter throw down!

I haven’t been watching it, but I watched last weeks episode and it totally blew my mind, and not in a good way. After getting all this stuff about a bad guy who blew up this city, but actually didn’t because it was the good guy who blamed it on the bad guy so he’s actually the good guy now they have to time travel to kill the bad guy… But it was the good guy that did it anyways.

    I just don’t know, man.

I feel the same freaking way bro. It’s totally x-men remade for network tv but they’ve done such a good job producing it. I needed a replacement for Smallville which has been sucksville over the past season. Totally found it w/ Heroes. And Give it up for the Haitian! Can’t believe my mom’s people have a superhero who gets serious respect. “I’m not goin up there dude… the haitian is up there…. “
