Bumpzee Adds New Features

by Jeremy Schoemaker on April 26, 2007 · 22 comments

One thing I really liked about mybloglog was the ability to get stats on my site super fast… also to track which posts were getting the most views without having to log into google analytics and drill down to much. Just quick stats…

Well Bumpzee has implemented stats and also a TRUE wheres the fire by showing you what blogs are getting the most reads on what pages. Pretty hot stuff

You can read more about it on the official Bumpzee blog

Nice job Jangro!

Interesting stuff. I’m signed up to Bumpzee, but haven’t gone too deep into it yet.

For stats, I use Google Analytics as well as a blog stats package called “Mint”. This provides at-a-glance information on every faucet of my blog – all on one page.

For $30ish bucks, I’m stoked with it. For blogging, it’s much better than Google Analytics, and well worth the money.

are u serious???? GA is one of the BEST pieces of tracking software out there. What features does mint have?

I’ve looked at both and I think GA comes up tops .. especially if you use Adwords often. Mint does throw up stats more easily though (less clicking around to get the stuff you need). But GA is more comprehensive.

I gave up on MBL and switched to BumpZee.

Yeah – Dead Serious :D

Google’s got most of the same features – but not at a glance.

Mint presents the information in a way which is relevant to bloggers – which is the big plus for me.
But that’s because Mint is designed for blogggers.

GA is still by far the best analytics package for standard web-sites, or for tracking conversions. But for blogging – Mint all the way!

You’re right – there’s no value in using Mint with Adwords.

Who’s starting up MyBumpZee? ;)

Mint sounds neat… I’ll have to try out Bumpzee and mint and maybe even some dill… err… Jeremy said we couldn’t hire him. Well, no dill, but mint sounds lovely.

One thing I like about it is the ability to see what other blogs visitors of shoemoney.com are going to. http://www.bumpzee.com/blogs/view/46/?type=visitors
