Scott Jangro Talks Affiliate Marketing & About BumpZee

By Jeremy Schoemaker 38 comments

Scott came on the show and we talked about everything from how Scott got started to his thoughts on where affiliate marketing was headed and many many other things like conferences like affiliate summit, ebooks, forums, and of course bumpzee! I would like to do a more in depth write up but I am headed to Minneapolis to help Dillsmack (which means ill watch and maybe take some pictures) as he gets all our new servers setup in our new datacenter at iphouse to accommodate the growth we are experiencing with AuctionAds.

Here is the podcast:

http://media.webmasterradio.fm/episodes/audio/2007/NI040307.mp3

right click and save it and then play it. I will fix my inline podcast player shortly.

Hey Shoe, What was the HTML editor you said you love called? You mentioned on the show… dreamweaver is doing some new ‘Creative Studio’ crap, so it may be time to move on to something new.

    Thanks Mate

Great show again Shoe. You always ask the right questions. Andrea isn’t on the show anymore?

You guys talked a lot about Affiliate Summit. I’ve thought about going, but I wonder if it’s good for those who are new to the affiliate side to attend - as far as learning new stuff. Anty thoughts? I don’t want to spend $1000 to go, then have most it fly over my head.

Hey Jeremy, I’ve been looking for an audio interviewing platform. Thanks for making me aware of webmasterradio.fm through this morning’s post. Now I have to get to work learning how to implement it on my blog.

Until I reach that point though I’d like to ask you something. I’d like for my readers to know more about you. Would you mind doing a blog interview with me on MartyBLOGs? It will be composed of open-ended, non-invasive questions. Answer them in detail as if we were talking in person. Include any web/blog links that you want to refer to. If you think any question is inappropriate just let me know and I’ll replace it with another question.

Sound O.K.? If so just send me an e-mail to mlindsey@martinlindsey.com with an e-mail address that I can send your questions to. Then we’ll work out a time line for you to reply back to me so I can schedule a posting date.

    Thanks again……..Martin

I agree with everyone else, webmasterradio.fm is a really good resource for anyone in the online industry from company execs to your average ppc junkie, there’s a show for almost everyone. Some of them aren’t as well prepared as Shoe’s and some you enjoy for their spontaneity, so it’s a mixed bag of goodies depending on what you’re trying to listen to. All it takes is one solid nugget and all that time is made well worth it.
