Emom Holds Birthday Contest
Emom Wendy P. is holding a contest on here site Emoms@home site and when she asked me if I wanted to donate time to do a phone consultation as one of her prizes it sounded like a fun idea! Plus everyone knows I am a sucker for contests! (even more then free shirts)

List of prizes:
- A FREE copy of the #1 Ranked SEOBook donated by Aaron Wall
- A FREE Premium subscription EarnersForum donated by Lee Dodd
- A FREE ticket to SOBCon in May donated by Liz Strauss (I’m speaking there)
- A $500 Coupon off of an Elite Retreat ticket (Orlando in May, anyone?)
- The *Grand Prize* is a FREE phone consultation with Jeremy “ShoeMoney Shoemaker and myself to talk specifically about how to grow your blog or business
- Special ‘SURPRISE’ prizes along the way - I have more up my sleeve!
- 34 Comments. What say you?
- RSS
- Delicious
- StumbleUpon
- Furl
- Digg

That’s a great idea for a prize. I don’t think I’ve seen this used (in context) at all lately. I’ll have to think of a way to link to them without sounding too cheesy :p

Nice prize line up!!!

Orlando in May?
Comin’ to my neighborhood, eh?
Awesome!
My wife and I would love to meet ya.

Jeremy,
cool contest.
Since you’re linking to wendy’s post and technically entering the contest, i think it’d be funky if you won the phone consultation with yourself……!
[Reply]
Thanks Connor - your blog looks pretty dang great, I think you can pull it off.
[Reply]
thats one thing people can never say is that you don’t give back! cool contest.

Ooooh.. I love the prizes. Definitely will check out the contest. Very generous of you to offer a free consultation to the winner, Jeremy.. thanks!

Nobody ever asks me to donate anything… other than Allan for the dinners at SES. Oh, well. Maybe I’ll give away something at NPMMO.

Sounds interesting..
But really - where’s the HAT & TEE ??
I’m curious whether an Aussie can participate.. (oh and can I swap the ticket and coupon for a Shoemoney Hat & Tee ?)..

Great contest idea along with wonderful prizes. Probably not a chance in heck to win this thing, but I’m glad to link to the site anyway.
[Reply]
you should specify a maximun call time, else people will want to cover the whole “making money online” concept. It is like “alright Jeremy, can we start by covering what a website is?”
[Reply]
I was thinking about joining the contest when I went to her site. It seems inviting enough.
[Reply]
That’s very generous of you and you’re the grand prize too!

Jeremy, Wendy just punched her ticket to permanent blogging stardom with that single announcement. How many bloggers are gonna start up contests in the next two weeks thanks to her?
[Reply]
I agree totally the prizes are actually worth winning for once as opposed to useless garbage!
[Reply]
Does anyone know if Shoe has ever given away a consultation before or if you can hire him for one ?
[Reply]
Great contest idea. Glad you were able to offer your time for the contest.

*Slips Easton $20 under the table for that comment*

Nice prizes

I’d be happy to ensure you feel included and ask you for a prize too, Brian. JK
[Reply]
John, you can definitely participate. I’ll just have my fingers crossed that if you win anything, it’s not something I have to ship to you!
[Reply]
I’m entered. I want to talk with Shoe on the phone instead of e-mail.
[Reply]
Great idea to hold a contest…I’ll gladly donate something if you’ll contact me, Wendy.
[Reply]
Yeah, I wonder how many times in your life can you say YOU were the grand prize! LOL
[Reply]
I thinke Elite Retreat is “it”.
[Reply]
Ha.. I had no idea you responded to this !

Well, I gotta say I dont often see link/feed bait so nicely dressed up
Mebbee I can find a spot somewhere for another link to your blog - come to think of it, my wife might use your feed. One less tourist for ya - hmm, was that viral ?
[Reply]
Yes, but talking to myself isn’t quite the same.
[Reply]
yeah, really. pretty nice collection.
