I love Mondays

By Jeremy Schoemaker 29 comments

I love Mondays… know why? Cause I can get all the stuff taken care of from the weekend when I was working and the rest of the world was loafing ;)
Seriously people no more weekends off work.

Right on! It probably also helps that you work and answer to yourself.

Who takes weekends off? Those are just days to work from home instead of working from the office.

Guys… April Fools was over yesterday.

I mean, seriously, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.

I don’t really take weekends off anymore. I’m already short on time, weekends is where I really catch up.

LOL! I find the harder I work the harder my business team works, if I take weekends off so will they. If I work through the weekends so will they.

If I go on vacation, nothing really gets done!

The weekend is great for running long distance, as during the week its harder to find the time.

I’m a workaholic, but I’m doing something to advance some project every single day of the week. Including weekends.

the best thing of working for yourself is that you lose some of the week-weekend paranoid. My friends who work for large companies pass the whole week waiting for the weekend.

Instead sometimes I wokeup during the week wondering what if its sunday or what…

With 7 kids, I never rest. The weekends are even busier than my weekdays. I guess I can look forward to some relaxation, when they leave the nest. Well, at least 6 out of the 7. My youngest is autistic.

The only time I get to rest is when I sleep. (That’s if no one’s sick).

    I need a nanny…ya think?

Yes. You need a nanny. Your kids could use one too. I have 2 of my own, my youngest is nearly 2 and already showing signs of the ‘terrible 2s’.

7 May be the big mans number, but holy freakin …
    I dont envy you :)

I used to never take weekends off, then I got some things backed up (mostly house stuff).

Then I took too many weekends off, then I got some other things backed up.

I have yet to find the perfect mix of days off/days on.

being your own boss help, sure.
but throw in 3 kids, pee wee football games and guitar lessons.
Most people need 2 days just to get the rest of their life in order.
