Shoe you mentioned in a recent blogger faceoff that you only read 10 RSS Feeds. Care to share with your readers?
Sure, I do not really have time to read a lot of blogs or forums but here are the 10 that I keep up with. Also I generally subscribe to people that tend to make or report the news first rather then regurgitate the same stuff.
Matt Cutts – Googles Top Engineer
Jensense – Jen does not post much but when she does she generally outscoops the industry when it comes to contextual advertising.
SlickDeals – I used to make a living off of buying stuff from this site and reselling it on eBay. I still can’t pass up a good deal.
PepperJamBlog – PPC pimps pepperjam blog.
Digitalpoint – Azoogle Forum – Great info here if you do anything with AzoogleAds. It seems to be the prefered method of communicating success/failures/ and questions about affiliate marketing (I also moderate this forum so I keep a eye on it)
Problogger – Darren Rowse post a lot of links but also has his own take on whats going on. This is probably my favorite blog on the net. A must read for anyone serious about blogging.
Tech Crunch – Gotta love watching what new ideas people are coming up with.
David Naylor – Posts with zero regularity but great stuff when he does.
Perez Hilton – Gangsta Of Gossip – I am a total sucker for celebrity gossip. Perez always has the scoop.

TechDirt and Mashable are dependably informative

Good RSS feed list. A couple I would add as well:
Paul Kedrosky – Great blog with a business, venture capital tint:
http://paul.kedrosky.com/
I, Cringely – Good overall technology blog from, of all places, PBS:
http://www.pbs.org/cringely/

I have read a few of these, I am really liking them!
March 20, 2007 at 9:05 am
Hmm, the links dont really work. Shoe must be using a RSS reader that allows him to open feed:// links in his browser.
March 13, 2007 at 11:37 am
Isn’t Perez getting sued over the Jennifer Aniston photos from “The Breakup”? Or was that another similar site?
March 13, 2007 at 7:08 am
Well, I use Mozilla and I also have issues with them.
March 12, 2007 at 9:09 pm
I personally like Problogger and TechCrunch.
March 12, 2007 at 6:08 pm

March 12, 2007 at 2:47 pm

March 12, 2007 at 2:19 pm

Glad I’m not the only one
March 12, 2007 at 1:28 pm
Ha, nice plug. By the way, I already subscribe to that/your RSS. Just so you know your link is bad – there is linked comma after .com
March 12, 2007 at 1:11 pm
there is a hidden link for http://www.dailyblogtips.com, there you go chap
March 12, 2007 at 12:51 pm
Good list of RSS feeds. Appreciate you sharing them with us. I visit about half of those sites daily, I will look at the others that you recommended. Thanks Shoe!
March 12, 2007 at 12:18 pm
By the way, I only count 9 links. Am I crazy?
March 12, 2007 at 12:17 pm
Azoogle forum is my favorite forum on DP as well. I’m ‘threehundred’ on there.
March 12, 2007 at 12:11 pm
ProBlogger and Tech Crunch are a must have for any blogger. Thanks for the tips on the others. I hadn’t seen about 5 of them. I really like SlickDeals.
March 12, 2007 at 12:02 pm
I’m also a regular Perez Hilton reader =)
March 12, 2007 at 11:38 am
…and don’t forget Derrich.com.
March 12, 2007 at 11:33 am
That would be because they are rss links to put into your rss reader.
I think only internet explorer has issues with them.
March 12, 2007 at 10:29 am
It’s OK … we’re all suckers for celebrity gossip.
March 12, 2007 at 10:11 am
Great list of RSS feeds. I also don’t miss a slick deal sometimes i find myself buying stuff just because the deal is TOOO good to pass up even though i don’t need it.
March 12, 2007 at 9:51 am
I think PerezHilton is pretty awesome. They post like 10 times a day, everyday.. and break stories very fast.
They’re a lil like the TechCrunch of celebrity blogs.
March 12, 2007 at 9:37 am
Ditto! This blog is #1 on my list.
March 12, 2007 at 9:10 am
Errr… 3 of 9 since you didn’t actually list 10.
March 12, 2007 at 9:09 am
Hmmm… 3 of 10 for me, although I do check in on SlickDeals every once in awhile.
March 12, 2007 at 7:27 am
Actually I’ve found the Oh No They Didn’t community on livejournal to have the scoop first and most insider info. http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/
March 12, 2007 at 7:05 am
Being a bit of a gossip reader myself, I always find threz’s entertainment channel a good read.. http://www.threz.com/today/Entertainment/
March 12, 2007 at 6:16 am
I feel the same way. I come by each day to try and pick up any tips I can get to help get started.
March 12, 2007 at 5:56 am
Perhaps the 10th is implied. (It’s feeds.Shoemoney!)
March 12, 2007 at 5:52 am
Ok I’ve counted four times but I still count nine – call me pedantic you wouldn’t be the first
.
March 12, 2007 at 5:16 am
Agree with Soul Healer. The things you post are very interesting and useful to people starting out in professional blogging. Or trying to get a foothold into it!
March 12, 2007 at 4:56 am
thanks for the share.
Regarding Matt blog i wont able to pick his point easily might.
Jensense no doubt is great to read. Slick deals no idea. PaperJam always motivate me.
No connection Azoogle.
Problogger sometimes create hype of a product that might not that worthy.
Tech Crunch a new addition after this post.
David Naylor will read now
Keep on sharing your knowledge you are one of the few people that help me learn alot.
March 12, 2007 at 4:38 am
Thanks for sharing the list Jeremy, I was curious about that as well.
March 12, 2007 at 3:51 am
I really like the techcrunch blog as well, I like seeing who is investing in what, what sites launch and even more interesting which ones enter the deadpool.
March 12, 2007 at 3:50 am
As links they don’t really work shoe – unless I guess readers have the same rss feed app as you. maybe just post the links to their sites.
up to you shoe.
