No Sound On Flash In Mac OSX FIX

by Jeremy Schoemaker on January 10, 2007 · 3 comments

There was a new lost spoiler posted on spolier buzz today and I was going nutz cause nomatter what I did I could not hear the fricking thing. Then I noticed it wasnt just there it was Flash. After hours of searching forums I came across the dumbest solution….

Open up garageband play the piano, close garageband, reboot.

Guess what… it worked.

So anyone out there if you run into this its the ONLY thing that I could find fixing it and I tried everything believe me.

You should always search my blog first for EVERYTHING (haha)…

It happens when an application sets your Audio Output Format to something too high.

The same thing happens with Linux releases. Not sure it has the same fix as the above comment though. Sometimes a new release works and other times not.
