Just edging out Danny Sullivan by 4 votes Matt Cutts takes home the trophey from Search Engine Journal For Best Search Blogger Of 2006 (NoteToSelf: Tell Loren come up with a cool name for these awards).

Congrats Matt!

SEOMOZ takes home the gold for Best SEO Blog of 2006 Congrats to Gillian Muessig Matt Inman, Rebecca Kelley Jeff Pollard, Si Fishkin and of course the Mastro of the MOZ (yes a new shoemoney dub) Rand Fishkin!

EDIT:

Loren has also now posted the award for the best SEM/Contextual blogs and the winner goes to Barry Schwarts for Search Engine Round Table. Congrats Barry and staff!

Good Friggin’ idea on the Cool Name for awards. Let us brainstorm sometime, Loren.

I think you mean “Maestro” instead of “Mastro”… unless your saying that Rand is the unparalleled dining experience featuring prime steaks and fresh seafood accompanied by live music and dancing 7 nights a week of the Moz. :P
