The last 2 shows of Net Income have some great guests you will not want to miss.

Jan 9th – Matt Mullenweg Not sure who Matt is? Check his wiki. This episode will also be co-hosted with Greg Hartnet.

Jan 16th - Darren Rowse

And The last show will probably live from the Affiliate Summit West!

Are you quiting the show because of all the technical problems (can’t ever listen live) and the blatant assholes that frequent the chatroom?

Hi I would not really call this quiting.. I had a contract to do 26 shows and that contract ends with these final 3 ;)

To be honest I think most people pick up the podcast so the option not to listen live has not bothered me that much

I don’t like the format of having to listen to a radio show. It’s hard to get other work done while you’re listening and it takes too long. I’d much rather read something where I can skim it quickly and get the relevant pieces out.

Hopefully you’ll be able to focus more time on your blog, etc.

doubtful ;) I hate writing also there is TONS of good blogs out there.

I want to get back to doing video stuff.

Your videos back in early 2006 were pretty cool, if you’re thinking of doing more of those, that would be cool. Video or audio, I say it’s still easier than reading. There’s plenty to read already (from blogs and forums), we need more quality video/audio commentary on this industry.

Yea, it would be a shame to see you stop doing the show, but replacing it with a video show would be cool.

Shoemoney,

I am sure you already know that you been mentioned in New York Time. Did you use PR firm? Do you mind writing a post on PR tips?

Thanks

Mark I have never used a PR firm. I had no idea it was in the paper until my google vanity “shoemoney” alert said it was.

does webmaster radio have any other live shows?

Reply

17 StrangeProgress January 3, 2007 at 7:18 pm

Yes Roger there are several other live shows I believe.

Shoe, if you do go back to video casts, is there any chance you could dump the audio track as a podcast as well? Only take a moment to create a separate MP3, and I’m sure a lot more people than me would find it just great to be able to keep listening on our mp3 players… just a thought.

Matt

Your shows are the best podcasts I have ever listened to, I hope they continue in some form or another, video sounds good, hopefully they will be free and will be sponsored by video ads.

Shoe I was seriously hoping you were going to give us a New Year’s present with another year of Net Income to look forward to. The last two shows do look good and thanks again for providing us the consistently best show on Webmasterradio. Kudos to Rockstars too when they actually have shows;)

Very sorry to hear the show is ending. Like most others commenting here, I hope you keep doing some sort of podcast or videos. Whether it’s with guests or just solo rambling, I’m sure there will be some gems that we can all pick up to make “mo’ money” :)

Hey Shoe. I’d like to add my name to the list of those wanting something along the lines of a podcast to continue (even if it is an audio track from a vidcast). I’ve found NI increadibly useful. Thanks for taking the time to put them together!
