Chicago SES 2006 - The Parties
The parties at Chicago were very cool and very unique.
Monday night had dinner at swanky Brazilian Steak House named Fogo De Chao sponsored by PepperjamSearch, Performics, Hitwise, Range Online Media, & Vintage Tub & Bath. Allan Dick MC’d the event and had all the sponsors make up haiku’s in order to win the big prize trophy claw foot tub thingie (sorry I don’t even know what to call it).
Tuesday Night we hit the True Local Party ( Thanks Jake! ). This was by far the coolest music I have ever heard at a SES Event. They had this blues band that totally rocked. They played everything from traditional blues to Hendrix.
Wednesday night we went out for pizza with seofangirl. The event was called “Pizza with the Studs Of Search”. Not sure how I made that list lol. Anyway It was a great time meeting the famous seofangirl and having a good time with the other guests. I heard a rumor SEOMOZ sponsored this event so Thanks Rand (and co).. someone correct me if I am wrong.
I really enjoyed meeting everyone as always! See you guys in New York City.

He didn’t sponsor it, but he did grab the bill - mostly because it was cheesy (yes, inside joke if you were there) that she wasn’t inviting us all there without expecting to cover the bill. But Rand stepped up, so yes - Thanks SEOMOZ.
Meeting SEOfangirl finally was really cool.
